Sorry bhai , but you have portrayed a very wrong picture of Dr Ali Shariate . Dr Shariati wasn’t a hardcore communist and he wasn’t aiming for a socialist state like Russia. Ali Shariati considered himself an Islamic socialist. He thought that Islam is more socialist inclined , for that purpose he used to give the example of Abu Dhar of Ghaffar. He wanted revival of red Shi’ism ( Pre Safavid Shi’ism) . His version of red shi’ism obviously didn’t favoured the Mullahs who were aiming for a theocratic state.
Dr Shariati’s Islamic socialist Iran could’ve been an improved form of “Pakistan under Bhutto”.

abdul rehman Pakistan has its own problems to handle. Kashmir being the most important of them. Palestine might an problem of Muslim world in general but it’s Arab country’s headache particularly.
How many of these Muslim Arab countries have ever supported us in Kashmir, military? In fact now we are even loosing their ( Arabs) moral support on Kashmir cause .
