I just had a very concerning conversation with a loved one who is a young thang…and she said Black people DON’T accept Beyoncé’s country leanings…not giving Bey the credit for bringing these ladies and the other artists who she included and wanted to highlight to bring Black Country to the mainstream…seems WE Black folks are STILL allowing slavery attitudes to keep letting dictation of who we are, our music ( it isn’t just Hip Hop and Rap) and our talents…Bravo!!!!
