A rare and comprehensive installment of works by this singular master to whom many of us have admired in book form only (no paintings to speak of outside Central Europe; even the Louvre has only one small work).
For those who can’t make to Berlin, the show thankfully makes its way to the Metropolitan Museum in New York in February 2025. Hopefully the great paintings will make it there.
