Sometimes you have to do these calls with strangers if you want to be involved in these kinds of things; I get that it's stressful, but it's just one of those things.
@@junerose7868 yes, she, as with the other “game changers”, completely ignored, dismissed, and did not provide transparency on the horrible High School Years pack, the game breaking patch release and disturbing bugs, and fiasco in the community following EA’s convenient timing to update their TOU on cc/mods (which they’ve ignored the outcry against permanent paywallers for years, so why now except as a diversion) to cause chaos and division when the community was briefly united in demanding legitimate change and quality from this company that continues to destroy the Sims franchise and abuse its consumers. I understand silence and manipulation from EA and Sims Gurus but game changers are supposedly our voice and representation…and instead of meaningfully calling attention to glaring issues and daring to challenge EA, they instead all went silent in lockstep on both TH-cam and Twitter until a patch update was released that still hasn’t resolved many of the bugs nor have many of them addressed the community concerns and frustration. “When we needed them most, they vanished.” Some have mentioned a few issues in the past days so their followers rush to defend saying “oh but they mentioned this in a video” when in reality I’ve seen all uploads from the main ones but it’s not truly covering the problems and is still playing defense for EA. Pixeleade was basically the lone user covering these issues at all while everyone else seemed to have received a gag order. What’s frustrating is that there isn’t honesty from them, the group whose platform is an entire pariah social relationship to begin with that their income relies on, and then we all just move on to the next shiny new DLC or pack, have it break the game and cause more issues that EA will ignore, and rinse and repeat all the while with the “Game Changers” singing EA’s praises and convincing their followers to keep buying regardless of quality, lack of gameplay, failed EA promises, etc. No one has to agree with me and keep blindly supporting people like Simsie, but in my opinion her and the other Game Changer’s lack of transparency is more of a betrayal and their supposed reasoning for silence unconvincing, rather in my view being bought by or beholden to a corporation instead of their direct followers/supporters.
Fortunately Simsie has adressed bugs that she has witnessed and experienced and in her streams mentions them all the time and tells her viewers what she has experienced with certain pack and game bugs, She even makes videos on it. She makes videos on every update, express delivery, and pack and shares what she enjoys when she first receives the pack. I cant say for other simmers because i havent really watched many, other than Simsie and Vixella. Also the Sims Community website the person who runs it also addresses problems that they hear about from different resources and of course us as a sims community. Fortunately for us, Simsie is actually honest of what she experienced in bugs and within HER gameplay. Some people do experience different bugs with different save and possibly different systems the game is on. Also she doesnt encourage us to buy any of the packs, she shares her opinion on them so that we know ahead of time that we also may experience these problems. Also I do agree with you that The Sims 4 needs a major bug fix on certain packs and sometimes even the game in general for glitches that haven’t been fixed for awhile but you also have to understand that simmers dont really have control on when it should and can happen. For us we dont know the behind the scenes of EA game changers she could be sharing her opinions and glitches she has experienced and just EA hasn’t gotten to them yet, EA does have other games they need to attend to as well and it is a bigger company and sometimes they won’t take the time to fix bugs when they have new releases coming within a span of 2-3 months or so between each other.
I would be crying in those big group calls. So many people talking at once

@@dear_totheheart what "game breaking bugs" are you talking about??
@@dear_totheheart do you even have the new pack? I do and it mist definitely isn't buggy
