Take it all in, I moved last year to my house and it was a lot of work, but it is so worth every second. Don't get over stressed with any speed bumps, or overwhelmed with the work. Hey Cooper. For what it's worth- Check really careful the drainage situation where you have the game room if it's downstairs in a basement, converted garage, lower raised ranch. I just had failed drainage at my house and wow what a stressful and costly experience. My collection is significantly smaller than yours, mine is about 3,500 games but it took me a solid week, minus work, to get this cleaned, dried and back in place. Got my contractor to fix the issue but every storm I'll be a nervous wreck.... My intention isn't to make you worry. You can't predict or prevent every thing. Just a life experience that could potentially save someone else the trouble. Best of luck and congratulations on the home!!
Great to see moving content! One thing what I learned about moving was that it is important to pack same console parts (power supply, wires, accessories) to the same package so that you do not need to afterwards think where this power supply was going to.. :-)
The timing at :56 was perfect Great Vlog Congrats on the house. Again and I am not sure why much like when you were filming the expansion of the store there is a therapeutic vibe when you have these big projects you do on the vlog and they are really relaxing to watch I am just not sure why but they are great vlogs nonetheless.

Not sure if Home Depot is the same in the US as it is in Canada but here if you apply for a Home Depot card you can get your appliance with 0% financing for 18 months. That’s what I did paid it off slowly instead of spending a large chunk at once :P

I just moved a few months ago and pretty much all appliances are on back order due to shipping issues and chip shortages. Took 3 weeks for me to get a fridge. I’d focus on the stuff you need at the house and take some time to get the house cleaned and paint or whatever you need to do before you move in. Doesn’t seem like you’d be in a rush to get out of your current house since family is going to stay there.
We don't have keys until everything is done, which should be August 17th, and the stuff we need is all big (fridge, washer, dryer, couch, etc). We can't get any of it until we have the keys and can take it to the house. There isn't any painting we are planning to do or anything like that. The house is good to go :)
"it was almost a relief when I ran out of tape" I was dying 😂. Definitely get rolling on the internet. My buddy just moved off 192nd and took them 3 weeks. But they Needed to come out. Hopefully previous owners had them and you can install.

Your electricity should stay on until you guys are into the house. They do this so that they can still do the inspection and test sockets and such. Definitely give all the utilities (electric, water, gas, internet) a call to begin the process of moving stuff over ASAP. Even if something falls through with the house you can call and cancel any hook ups.

As far as shelving goes, you might consider something sturdier than IKEA style particle board. I do have those for myself (from Walmart, not IKEA) and I don’t mind them too much because of the practicality, but they do bow under the weight pretty bad. I wonder if you could get your employees to build them just like they did for the store? Arguably outside the job description, but they did so well before! 😜
I personally like reg shelves but I have a small room that both my bedroom and game room so I have these way basic shelves they would be good for you cause 20 a shelve and only hold 30 dvd case a shelves but I have different one u used fav a reg tho
Next time he does a roadtrip up to the Seattle area, I recommend East Lake Sammamish Parkway, the road that connects Redmond and Issaquah. There are a TON of mansions on that road.
