Slight mistake with the sizing, in the video you state that it is a 5/16 socket for the spark plug when it is in fact a 5/8. Just performed this process on my 06 and it helped me tremendously. Thank you for this video!
I just ordered a 5/8 socket tonight from Amazon so I can do my Honda crv and this really caught my attention. I thought I bought the wrong size. But then realized how small that would be
Get a piece of a 3/8" (10mm) rubber hose and use it to place the spark plugs into place. Never drop plugs into the hole since the internal resistor might fail. I have done a few of these engines, which notorious for 'baked ring syndrome'. One of the worst Honda engines imo.
Yes I agree. I just couldn’t find any with the rubber insert. Would’ve saved me time between using a magnet. Forsure will be on the list for my next tool buy.
So your saying i should remove the fuse for doing the plugs and coils or for doing the compression test? Cant i just replace the plugs and coils without pulling that fuse? (i wont be doing the compression test on mine) Thanks for the help.
Sorry, good question. That fuse was only remove to do the compression test. I should’ve been more clear in the video. If you are just doing the spark plugs and coil packs, you don’t have to remove that fuse.
I brought it to get fix there was 3 cylinder there was a too many misfire The check engine when on Wednesday I brought to autozone it said coil and sparks plugs I just got it done last week Do u think it’s there lose And put a gas gasket got fix to and new oxygen sensor
Another video said that the spark plug torque was at 13 I believe. it's in the manual if you have it, he did show it from the manual. Also where did you get the real spark plugs vs the fake
I've been having the same problem with my 03 honda crv. i have codes for all cylinders miss firing and a code for random miss fire, i've tried replacing coil packs and spark plugs ( cheap ones). and i'm still having miss fires and idle issue. do you think it's because i used cheap spark plugs? I just don't want to go out and buy those expensive ones and it not work.
i would just spend the money on the expensive parts and get it from the auto store. In that case if it doesnt work out, you can always return it to the store and get a refund.
1 year and 8,000 miles on the old plugs???? You probably got the cheap Chinese knock offs on ebay. You can tell by the photos on the box (fakes have no shadow) and the fakes don't have a number on each plug.
Dont cheap out on plugs man i got the ngk at my local advanced auto for 70 bucks. Spend the money and be done you wanted to save 20 bucks on ebay lol come on my guy.
I have a 2005 Honda CRV so I appreciate you sharing! I'm just learning what I can from videos so I can do regular maintenance on the car.
You’re welcome. I appreciate that. Means a lot to me

Real ones from auto store. Fake ones from eBay
replace one splug at a time, don't remove them all risk of falling object into it.
Hello nice video, could you tell me what is that on the dash that will show you mpg ? Thank.s
That’s a scanguage 2. Hooks up to your obd2 port. I mainly just use it to monitor my water temperature now.

The problem started on I would say Wednesday the light went back on
And the car sign with slippery sign on it to
So I brought it back to the mechanic on Thursday. They still haven’t looked at my car yet because they’ve been so swamped over there with other cars.
I just hope a loose spark plug or something there’s a warranty on it a year warranty. I wouldn’t have to pay anything.
@@1986twlight let’s hope that’s the case and they just take care of everything.
😂 after you dropped them know you really need to gap them .. good job on the fuel pump
Make Sure U Replace That Battery ASP Too Is About Time For All Those 240.000 MILES 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha the battery is still good, from 2019. So I have about 1 year left. Lol. But it’s still good

Yeah, they were the cheap fake ones. I did replace them with the real Ngk plugs and show the small differences between the 2.
ดีมาก
