Staggering ... Prayers continue for the state of our Church today .... and for healing through the Most Holy Eucharistic Heart of Jesus to bring the Prelate who shall restore the spirit of our Holy Mother Church's prests !
Hopefully this is to wake up the Cardinals and future Cardinals who will be voting for future Popes. Hopefully it's a wake up call for a lot of Catholics.
We need go no farther than Jesus Himself who warned us that His Church would face hardship - and that the gates of Hell will not prevail against it. Praying that we all remember that we know how this story ends - and remain faithful to Him. 🙏❤🙏
What history will remember about this synod is Francis giving a presentation on how young priests trying on hats was a great scandal for the gospel on the same day that news broke that Rupnik was given priestly faculties with the support of the Vatican.
As an Eastern Christian I must say that Pope Francis' recent removal of a bishop was a very anti-synodal action. Bishops cannot simply be removed without synodal / canonical action being taken. Francis talks about synodality, but acts in non-synodal ways, which make him look like a hypocrite. I must admit that the term synodality seems to have taken on an ideological perspective in the Roman Church that has nothing to do with the synodal way of acting that is traditional in Orthodoxy.
Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
The fact that the word, synodality cannot be defined is a huge problem. How can such a large group of people(Catholics) be able to dialogue, etc if they don't have a clear understand of this word?
From Our Lord's 10/29-30/2023 message to Sister Beghe: "My very dear Children, the Holy Church is currently going through a very great crisis, and is in the process of making people believe that what was excluded yesterday could be accepted today. My Children, be certain of this, My doctrine cannot change because My creation was built in a certain way, God’s way, and man cannot change what God has established.
I can decide, establish, but man - in the opposite sense - can undo and he can break. He will never do better than Me, and if he follows My Ten Commandments, he will reach Heaven, the goal of My Creation. If he strays from it, he will end up in Hell, that place of perdition, execrable and sovereignly detestable. My Children, the present Synod, called the Synod of Synodality, follows a human decision that I neither asked for, nor even inspired."
Accompaniment and enabling people to act: Given that certain Bishops have shown that they have the solution: with vocations filling their seminaries, people are happy and growing in their faith! Why has their success been seen as a threat? Surely such success would be held up and celebrated!
I disagree with you on one point. That sin was only mentioned once. The word sin nod was chosen for this reason! They are laughing at us who love Jesus and his Church.😢😢😢 Heaven help them.
Mr. Pentin, at around minute 43:00 you cite "a German theologian" with surprisingly orthodox views - where did you find this specimen of an otherwise extinct species?
It’s not the synodal way; it’s the hispanic way. Everyone who is familiar with the hispanic culture will recognize it in this pontificate. In other words, it’s a chaotic, disorganized, corrupt mess, to put it politely, but accurately.
I have heard Ed Pentin talk many times before, above all on Raymond Arroyo's show, and of course his positions on most of the issues discussed during the Synod and his typically British art of the understatement are well known, but to my knowledge he has never sounded so disillusioned and frustrated, and he has never been so outspoken about the problems of the current papacy as he is here. I have just heard words like 'heterodox', 'false', 'manipulate', 'stack the deck', 'code for', 'revolution', 'illegitimate'(to name but a few), which should never be heard in a report about a Catholic bishops' synod, but which Pentin clearly feels he has to use (most of them in quotes from synod participants) to characterise the way the Vatican goes about things under Francis. This is hair-raising. On the other hand, the evil done by certain representatives of the Church hierarchy brings out the best in some of the good people. May the Lord bless you and protect you, Mr. Pentin.
I agree that Mr. Pentin is unusually precise and definitive with his statements and writes beautifully. Every time I have heard him on EWTN, he speaks too cautiously. I’m not sure if you agreed with him or not.
@@sophiachavez3377 I totally agree with Ed Pentin and his analysis (and criticism) of what's going on in the Church. What I was doing was express my surprise at the clarity and straightforwardness with which he addresses all the problems of this rigged synod, a clarity and straightforwardness I am very grateful for.

One cannot help but think that Pope St John XXIII was perhaps overly optimistic in Gaudet Mater Ecclesiae given what has transpired in the world since this statement.
Which part? Certainly not his closing, optimistic point: the Modernists' takeover of the Vatican was a Pyrric victory, as it simultaneously emptied their Pews. Young Catholics want nothing to do with heterodox sickos.

No it's not. Trads rule in the seminaries. Young Catholics in general have connected the heretical-cum-criminal dots, so to speak, of V2 and the unnatural horrors they see all around them. Once the depraved Boomer admins are gone ... RFGA, Ph.D.
Removing Bishop Strickland was an act prompted by The Lord through Pope Francis. Being too Catholic can be a manmade problem. An academic approach to living the life of Christ Jesus does not promote faith, hope, charity, and love. Pope Francis urges priests be “shepherds with the ‘smell of the sheep’”, grounded in the situation of their flock. A priesthood isolated from the people of God, is neither a Catholic priesthood nor a Christian one.
and.. do you really want priest that smell like the lost sheep (promiscous, gay, etc) or do you want priests that do their very best to smell like Christ?
No, women do not "need" to participate in the decision making processes of the Church. You are making this about the "needs" of women, not what is best for the Church.
@@WT-Sherman exactly! as a woman, I cannot be happier (and more challenged) to have our Blessed Mother as a figure to emulate. i dont need to take decisions concerning my salvation, not doing the reading a mass or becoming an altar girl ...
This is the church Jesus built. He was pretty forward thinking. The male priesthood, hierarchy, etc. do not diminish the role of women in the church at all. Jesus surrounded himself with women who were humble, faithful and strong. The feminine role is different, not less important. As others have said, no creature on earth or in Heaven is more exalted than our Blessed Mother.
