    It could be he was nervous during the interview and talking about the sensitive matter he was discussing but there is still definitely residual pain in his son's voice. All the money in the world doesn't make it worthwhile

      I get fucking mad when my parents say they gave me everything so they don't know why I'm upset with them. "You bought me stuff, mom and dad, i wanted you to take and watch me play football while i was in school. Thats it."

      Exactly. I’m 41 and my dad had to write my bday in his phone under my name cuz he didn’t know it. He spends more time with his secretary then with his kids. He misses all special holidays and my moms birthday every year and he’s mad I tell him he’s cheating on my mom. He’s like how dare you suggest that. When he is with us he’s taking pictures and texting them to his secretary and trying to start a fight so he can leave whatever activity we’re doing. Oh but the whole church is obsessed with him. So strange.

      As the owner of a small concrete business, I think of that song often. I have two boys that I missed a lot of time with. Ultimately ive come to the realization that a successful business is worthless if your family resents you for it.

      His father not being around afforded his son life few get to experience. There are kids whose fathers aren't around for a myriad of reasons and they didn't/don't have half the benefits of this got

      This is a guy who searched out his own FAME in multiple pro sports. He sat and giggled/ gloated as Tony Stewart, a person who ran over a teenager, was inducted into the "Hall of Fame". Now he's celebrating a win as the tangled, smoldering wreckage of a competitor is tended too by emergency crews. Let's call it what it is, Joe is a self-obsessed but successful PIECE OF SHIT.

Tony Stewart has always had an attitude. If he did that on purpose, he would not have cooperated with police and would've called Kevin the exact idiot he is.       Some old school dads think being a dad is simply being a provider. Therefore the more you work and provide the better you’re making your kids lives. Mine was the same way, worked almost every day I knew him.

    so Joe has been working towards a path that his future generation's can enjoy...grandkids
