    Last week, we shared getting to BLM land after the first come, first serve campground in Moab we tried was full. We ended up loving Willow Springs Trail Dispersed Camping (on Campendium app) as it gave awesome access into Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park while avoiding the traffic in Moab.
    We shared how we sometimes have to get creative with where we do school and work, and more often than not, those locations blow us away!
    After an incredible sunrise with donuts and coffee at Landscape Arch in Arches NP in our last video, we headed to see Delicate Arch for sunset and Milky Way night photography as the grand finale of our time in the park. It was a night that we will remember forever! Mostly because we had to hike back down to the truck in the dark!😳
    Stay tuned for the next episode where we explore Canyonlands National Park and do sunrise at the famous Mesa Arch! Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!

    Arches and Moab are just beautiful, what is amazing is the amount of water flowing in these rivers hardly makes it to the gulf of California, it all goes to farming, and when it enters the gulf it is polluted, damaging all life in the waters. Sorry to be a pooper but it is wrong.

    • @FindingOurSomeday
      @FindingOurSomeday  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I swapped out the rear turn signals for LEDs . They are less power so the truck thinks one is out. The LEDs(Philips) we’re supposed to have a capacitor to prevent this . I really need to swap them back out....

Lily and Leila are fantastic adventures. Not a complaint about hiking even in the dark. What memories you guys will share around the Thanksgiving table when they start showing up with their kids..... Do you remember almost getting lost on the Mountain in Maine...... What about the night hike back from Delicate Arch....How about the canyon hike in those silly water suits or helping out at the Montanan Ranch.....which one will be everyone's favorite.

    I enjoy your video's so much, my only complaint is this video was to short. As was mentioned in another comment your videos have become my favorite sunday nite watch, unless the Green bay packer are playing ;)

      Thanks for the compliment 👊 the original plan was that the next day was supposed to be included in this episode but it was waaay to long so I had to cut it in 1/2 . Let me know if we ever get watched in front of football 😂

    This was another GREAT video. Know what's sick? I live in Colorado, and I have never been to Moab, or the Arches. I need to do something about that. Thank you all for sharing this with us. It sure inspires me to take a trip when I can. Your photography is top notch.

    First of all, I love how the memory of 2017 was "four hours up and back" yet in real life it was an hour and a half! LOL! Practical question...if it's an hour up, an hour back, a couple of hours waiting for sunset and true dark for the photos...what do you do about a bathroom? LOL!

    • @FindingOurSomeday
      @FindingOurSomeday  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was definitely longer up than it was down! We were flying down that mountain! But yes, everything in memories become exaggerated! 😂 In this situation we had done enough hiking that it wasn't needed but there were plenty of bushes on the way down if we needed one! 😉

    Wow! FOS crew, that was amazing! Love your videos but this one was so special. Your shot of the arch and the gorgeous night sky was breathtaking and my heart was pounding for you as you headed down the trail in the dark though! We are of an age that we wouldn’t be able to do that hi,e so thanks for taking us along. ❤️

    Fun video! Enjoyed the flashback. I'm with ya on the wasabi..."Why does something that hurts you taste so good?" Try wasabi on your salad, it's the only thing that can make lettuce tolerable (besides bacon, pepperoni, etc.).

    Nice trick, with the 2 second aerial shot of delicate arch at :35. I had to do a double check, then realized is was a google simulation. Nice effect, you fooled me, I initially thought you flew your drone in a NP.

    WOW!! Such great night photos. Willow Springs really is a great location for both parks. Moab RV parks are crazy expensive so finding good boondocking is awesome. Thanks for the tip. We are thinking about going back this fall with some friends and we will definitely try some night hikes this time! What kind of filters does Cory use for night photography in a place with dark Skys like that?
