    READ ME!
Yes, the Desktop has a faster CPU. Yes, the Desktop has slightly faster RAM. I know that.
This is an approach to compare 2 very different systems.
The i9 9900K is basically identical with the i7 10700K, so it is in fact 10th gen Desktop i7 vs 10th gen Laptop i7.
Please excuse the different OSDs. I didn't have time to record all the Laptop Games again with a different OSD and I need the slim OSD for other videos that are coming up.
    My time is limited ;)
If you enjoyed the video nevertheless, please leave a thumbs up. Thank you!

From what I saw, it's only Control that has a VRAM limit issue. Everything else has performance disparity that you'd expect from lower TDP and shader processor count.

No, lack of VRAM is what actually was causing a big difference in frames. Look at Control and Cyberpunk. Both games are using almost 6GB with the desktop version and the laptop version is bottlenecking at its full memory with big losses in FPS.

Yeah, I'd wager the performance difference is mainly due to the difference in TDP and higher shader processors (2560 vs 2048) more than anything.
