David Lucas was born in Macon, GA. He started acting an early age, performing in numerous stage plays at the Macon Little Theatre. He relocated to Hollywood where he was a contestant on, “MTV Yo Momma”. He has since written for several television shows and continues to perform stand up all over the country (for such comedians as Louis CK, Erik Griffin, Joe Rogan, Brendan Schaub, Tony Hinchcliffe, Bert Kreisher, DL Hughley and many more) He is a regular on Kill Tony. @@iplaywithrocksforfun In taste there is no argument. I was talking about my taste in what makes me laugh. There is nothing compelling you could say to make me lose a debate with you over that fact. What I think is best is what I think is best. You have a subjective opinion about who "won" a specific exchange in the above video, but you ignore the reality that there is no universal metric for determining who did "much better". I agree that you think Tony did better, because in your opinion, you liked his jokes more. I would never be so myopic and dull as to think I could argue that you are wrong about that judgment for your own taste in comedic material. It's important to note that I also was referring to a much bigger idea about David's prowess in his ability to write stand-up and his roasting skills over many years (not just the one example in this video). I have seen him do this better than anyone else when it comes to what I specifically enjoy. Clearly you missed that nuance in my comment. I have watched David for years and stand by my assessment of what I think is the greatest insult/roast comics alive today. It's obviously implied that this is my opinion by the fact that I made the comment, and not some kind of universal standard that doesn't exist.
