Loading into the Tower, Track 1 instantly became one of my top 5 Destiny tracks almost instantly, right up there with Deep Stone Lullaby and Journey. God I love this game so much.
Actual chills when I heard Bow to No One mixed with Be Brave. Maybe my favorite of the event Tower music, they even included the drum flourish from Bow to No One at 0:55!
Track one is just a glorious collection of all 'hype' tracks from the past and I'm all for it. Track 2 was from 2021 or 2020 I think but I still held it as one of my favourite tracks of solstice so far. Now it's close competition :)
i was so shocked when i noticed the leit motif used for track 1. only used in 2 soundtracks in all of destiny 2 before solstice 2022, and no one knows what it is, what it means, or why it is used.
It’s kinda strange because I don’t think Bow to No One is actually where the motif originates, I’m pretty sure it comes from Mara’s Theme. But now something that was exclusively awoken just sorta became adopted as one of the Guardians’ leitmotifs.
@@A-with-the-J iirc the first five notes were used as Mara’s theme, with the following parts of the motif coming from Bow to No One! I don’t think there’s enough to solidly say what the motif represents, but if I were to wager a guess pride and resilience: it plays during the TTK subclass introduction over “What does it mean to be a [Class]?” Queen’s Oracle I always saw as a culmination of everywhere we’ve been as a Guardian as we step foot in the Dreaming City for the first time, since it plays in that first mission. Solstice initially I believe was meant to be a celebration of our past, both our accomplishments and all the hardships we’ve overcome. Just my interpretation though!
I wouldn’t bet on it. Mara had her 15 minutes back in Season of the Lost. We’ve been waiting for Rasputin’s storyline to continue since Season of the Worthy 2 years ago
There’s no official release for it yet and most of the big Destiny OST channels are still in the process of slowly and carefully rebuilding, so for right now its just something along the lines of “Solstice 2022”.

Mara Sov has to show up next season. If she doesn’t I’ll be kinda sad

Track 2 isn't new, its the Solstice 2021 track
It can still be heard in the tower during solstice, just like 2020's and 2019's
