What's the big deal about the Olakulehin's health? Ibadan have seen 3 months Olubadan before. Oba Kobiowu was there for only 3 months before he paid. So what's new?

King designate? Come on TVC news, there no Kings in Nigeria. What we have are just traditional rulers and not Kings.

What Ibadan call Kings are mere chiefs, which king? (my own opinion).

In English language the word King is a male monarch who rules or reigns over a sovereign state (country).
A Queen regnant is a female monarch who reigns over a sovereign state( country).
For a person to be called a monarch he or she must be the monarch of a country and not a tiny enclave.

I agree with all the submissions above, however, let's be reminded that the meaning of words change from time to time and from one language community to another.
Language is used for communication , if in this part of the world we have taken the king to be what we are using it for and it gives good communication among us so be it.
