Larry Funk If a church can't trust for the word of God, the living breathing word of God for that matter to connect with the music that was made to exalt the Holy God in the highest, instead use a secular song that has no glorifying of the one true God whatsoever, this tells me that theology is man-centered. For, even if a song has a motivational, emotional, psychological, pseudo-spiritual formula that "ties in", it still does not compare from letting authentic worship or the true Gospel from scripture speak for itself.
