I'm currently taking lessons 4 - 5 days a week (both english and western - I'm a beginner) I would love to purchase a horse next couple of years....when I'm a better rider. I must admit - my friends Tennessee Walker is as smooth as glass! lol. I'm primarily interested in trail riding (Kettle Moraine forest area of Wi.) I can walk, trot and I'm starting to learn lope/ cater. I've galloped once on a cattle drive in Mexico - it was hauntingly thrilling and scary as heck all at one time and It sparked something in my soul!!! I hoping to find my dream horse...perhaps a quarter horse (bomb proof please) ...that won't buck, bolt or shy on the trail. I would never select a horse (aka: new family member) based on breed to color...but rather personality, training / desensitized...I would love the horse to "pick" me! I've got A LOT to learn and a long way to go. I adore horses, they are my happy place. Any day at the stables and in the saddle is a GREAT day! AHHH!
