Early game seems to be a huge issue, but I will say, after chapter 8, it might be better than before. There is more scrolls and I'm finding it's easier to level more of my commanders now. Slowing the start down also lessens the importance of starting location, and as you noted, it stops the fun early season race. It let's everyone catch up so the season is almost bifurcated - you have the 1-40 part of the season, and then once everyone is 40, the second part begins. That part I'm not a fan of.
It feels like a better game mode for more casual players and newer players. Affluence gives more of a development-progress feel but they slowed it down too much to be competitive. It’s just too casual for Iron and YUDZ haha
Imagine this… affluence is a flat rate based on tile power and then also for each individual structure you’ll notice you get affluence. Those are the only two components I believe. Click on the top left under affluence It can go down if you lose tiles. It will make 100% sense in a week or two when we’re done with development and all you have is that flat production bonus slowly going up with tiles Power gives you more and more power and all adds up to give you more and more perks from the ring.
@@Sevro555 This makes sense, thank you for the feedback!! I think I like TE better for more competitive seasons. It seems like TE offers more pure gameplay with less bells and whistles.
