If I owned all of Marvel, Wonder Man and Rogue would become Mr./Mrs.Williams and as fas as I'm concerned Wonder Man has become my top guy and Rogue has become my top girl! You see Marvel doesn't know it yet, but if their writers stop being lazy, they can put Marvel on top of the comics industry! Back in 1981 when I picked up Avengers after one of my friends advised me to read it, I was introduced to Wonder Man and Rogue was in that issue attacking the Avengers. That night I dreamt that Rogue was going to rise in popularity. I woke up from that dream, looked around my room didn't know why, but I saw images of Rogue saving all the lives of the heroes and the world. After that all comics fan would start buying X-MEN just to see Rogue. Later the next day I saw Wonder Man's true potential and wondered why is it he's held back in matters of the Avengers spotlight? He looks like superman only he doesn't have to wear a cape if he doesn't want to. He has the same powerset only he's ionic energy, so kryptonite can't hurt him and magic wont work against him either! They are not treating Rogue and Wonder Man like they should with Gambit hanging onto Rogue's well earned fame and popularity, Wonder Man still just in the background as the Avengers backup reserve members these two deserve far better than what they're getting! If I owned Marvel right now my superstar couple would be leading my company to the highest heights of comics pop culture!
If you think that is so, wait until he becomes powerful enough to stop the Crown Enigma by Turing into pure energy and blowing it out of existence and since Rogue has the same power set, she'll help him, then both my favorite heroes will get so much love, they can't go out in public without people swarming around them! Downloaded the app last week. I never got a chance to get into Wonderman Gladiator or even Hercules. I'll get around to Wonderman after a couple of issues of Namor. WM is seriously slept based on the fact no one really speaks about him

As for his raw power, yeah he is no pushover. While he did admit he is not as strong nor as powerful as Thor and Sentry, he is in their class.

Statistically speaking, Simon a.k.a. Wonder Man could've been Marvel's analogue to Superman; better yet Captain Atom or Firestorm. His greatest enemy really was the writers who illustrated his adventures. He's basically the precursor to the Sentry, but none of his creators had little to no real clues as to just how powerful they made this guy. If I understand how Mr. Williams powers work, he could potentially harness the powers of the One above & below All seeing as ionic rays can be used to manipulate Cosmic and Gamma Rays succinctly.

And I personally think that lesser villains like these, Penguin, and Two-Face, and Black Mask, and Mr. Freeze, just some villains who have no actual powers or who are not as intelligent as say Batman or Lex Luthor that they are still intelligent and capable in their own right, with maybe combat training and weaponry and things like that.

Harley or Kawasaki cruiser w/ monkey bars, switcing to waist boosters. I sometimes wonder why givem a greater strength & endurance if they dont use him. Be it the case he would be cool to see an avenger team up & then at the very end of these phases they form the WC Avengers with war machine but his suite looks like the 80's iron man suite which was very cool.
