Cuz after 0×1= Lovesong their management hasn't been the same and that Era was fr so iconic , but they fumbled bad with GBGB to match it (I love the song but yk who the queen is). SRR did great tho, no bside promotions. At this point it's more like TXT has become a group to experiment on.

my issue with solo stans is that they usually create this narrative where their member is actually unhappy within the group, that all the members hate them and viceversa, that the company mistreats only that member specifically, and that the group doesn’t deserve that member because they’re so much more talented/popular/attractive/whatever than the rest of the group. that they need to be saved. and thus begin deluding themselves into hating on the other members, comparing them with each other and creating rumors to somehow get them out of there. it’s really weird. like a deluded savior complex.
i have no problem with a person liking only one member from a group, especially if they’ve had the chance to show themselves as soloists, it makes sense that they might get solo fans, but supporting only one member is different from dismissing their band mates, their relationships, their hard work as a team, and even being outright nasty towards the others. like, just be respectful????
this applies to anyone who only likes only some members from a group. i don’t think someone should be considered as, for example, a moa, if they don’t like the whole group… because that’s what it means to be a moa, to be a fan of txt, and txt are 5! so if you don’t like the 5 members then you don’t fit into what it means to be a moa; then you’re a solo stan of three members of the same group.
i always wonder what hateful solo stans actually stan, because whoever they stan is part of a group! how do they listen to the music, watch the content? are the other members really that awful (to their subjective preferences) that they can’t stand how they sing/dance/act? … i could be considered a baekhyun and kai solo stan, because i really like their solo stuff, and through them i got to know exo’s discography, and though i don’t stan them (i don’t consider myself an exo-l), i appreciate the contributions and hard work of the other members, i know their names and respect them as a group. it’s really not that hard.

As an Army. I literally despise Solo's and toxic shippers. They are ALWAYS, unfortunately, the loudest on Twitter, and they are foul and toxic. Now, defending when hate is their i understand. Because every group fan base does it. But attacking and finding out personal stuff, addresses, where they work, etc. Is extreme behavior. I don't condone it. The, my member hates this member, my member hates being in the group, my member wants to be solo, my member would be better outside the group, my member is the best, singer, dancer, blah blah blah. Same crap, different day or how about this....the company treats them so badly, they need to sign with another company or their own. Ridiculous. The young kids are the worst and some older ones too. I understand they like a member the most. Ok, fine. But don't talk bad about their other members who are literally, after so many years, their family. Remember people, if they did not debut together and become popular within the fandom, you would not have that member to stan, like AT ALL. Maintain common decent curtesy to their other members or don't post anything at all. As far as the people that are obsessive "fans". Need psych evaluations. I will never consider them even part of Army's or I'm sure other fan bases would agree they are not fans of theirs either. Solo's can try to comment, but since I'm older, I'm just going to laugh at your comment and giggle, so type away. 😆

The main part of the thread was her following them to knots with her friend group, which many found extremely creepy, and then when she met them she only talked to soobin and ignored Hueningkai in a sense.

If you actually truly like/stan a group you DO NOT get disappointed on getting any of the members merch. I COULD NOT stand being in Weverse. Left at the 2 month mark, ashamed to lump myself in with these so called 'fans'. I thought I would find someone to talk about my favourite groups and analyse music or music videos by my favourite groups with. But the entirety of my feed was filled with people sexualising the group members, trying to flirt with them, creating 'marry me' posts, and fishing for likes and share from others. They felt like some sort of mindless zombies, to be honest 😢😫😵.

@@lonelymoa okay so I think serious stalking is like following over a prolonged period of time, like if I mistook someone for my friend and followed them I wouldn't say it's actual stalking. Also if I saw someone that looked like an idol I knew I'd also want to double check yk? Like when she didn't actually assault the poor guy or anything. As for being ot3, while I myself don't approve of being selective I think she can stan who she wishes to, and while I agree that it's not great for the group as a whole, it's not actually harming them directly.
@@KypukypuI understand where your coming from, but as the video mentions we shouldn’t be encouraging this kind of behavior. I don’t follow people who I think might be my friend I think that’s a bit odd especially if you’re unsure, you typically call out the friend or maybe text to confirm. Also, idols aren’t friends … so following them around to check if that’s an idol isn’t the best action to take especially if the idol has been stalked previously. Maybe asking them or simply minding your business would be the best actions (it really depends). Also, it seems like she has done it more than once. Unfortunately, the industry normalizes and even encourages parasocial relationships with idols which leads to that kind of behavior.
I personally don’t like ot3 stans, but that’s just my opinion. from the clips I’ve seen the distaste for the other 2 members seem pretty clear to me, but that’s just my opinion and what I gathered from clips.

When I said I would 'follow' its more like for a few meters at most to maybe ask them and check, be it friend or idol. I wholeheartedly agree that this kind of behaviour from fans should not be enouraged, and I was not trying to promote it in any way, I just think that the term sasaeng is a bit strong for what she has done, she is at the very least at the more mild end of things.
I am also not fond of people who stan only specific members and not the whole group, and I would prefer if some fans werent so selective. I'm not too familiar of what she has done (other than what was mentioned in the video) but from what I know she hasnt actually dont anything malicious against the group. If she has spread hate for the other two members then thats a different story and she should probably be stopped.

Saseangs stalk idols and can be delusional fans. Just because someone is delusional doesn't mean they aren't doing saseang behavior. There are levels to it, but I understand if she is following around an idol and being delusional about their relationship, then that's within the realm of saseangs. If she had more money, she could potentially be a really bad saseang. Saseangs start as delusional fans.
i agree that she shouldn’t be labeled a sasaeng but you didn’t mention the part where her and her friend followed txt to knotts berry farm. she tried to edit photos to make it seem as if they arrived before the members but it was disproven with image file names, shadows, and the fact that they specifically met them at the exit. some mutuals of mine and hers have also stated that she bullied people in her friend group to the point of people leaving.
i think the only reason people call her a sasaeng is because she stand txt but only talks and post about 3 of the members.

I just found this out but apparently, yeon1uv PAID someone to get supposedly a smut of her & Yeonjun...
She is also friends with sasaeng idols which means she directly/indirectly endorses their behavior so uhm-
idk if you know but i think most of the reason why ppl call her a saesang is bc of the fact that she followed txt to knotts berry farm after their show. she tried to defend herself by showing timestamps of pictures and saying she was there before txt, but those can be easily edited on the photos app on iphones. from the pictures of txt there it can clearly be seen that the sky was a lot brighter when txt was there = earlier in the day and in the photos she posted the sky is a lot darker = later in the day. so it's not hard to conclude that she followed them there to see them as they're leaving (this is also backed up by the fact that she saw them close to the exit gate in her video) and then spent some time inside to not seem like she followed them. otherwise why would someone be carrying like at least 10 photocards around knotts berry farm

Thank you so much for this video and further clarifying the whole situation. Some kpop fans are way too delusional. Don’t get me wrong, the idols are great, and I respect them. Some fans need to separate their delusions from reality. I don’t think she deserves all the hate she’s been getting. I think people just took it to the extreme, but then again, I don’t know her or how obsessed she is.
moas, and as a predebut moa myself, I can tell you that moas are always taking things to the extreme and sometimes they are too defensive. Well, i can understand some points because all of that stems from predebut and debut when the boys got TOO much of the unnecessary hate. But at the same time it has been years, txt is their own people not children and moa forget about that, they don't need to be nursed, it is unnecessary. Basically, moas biggest pro became their con. I still consider and will consider myself moa because i love and will always love txt but I stopped interacting with the fandom for at least 2 years, even more at this point

It's perfectly normal to have biases. For the most part, we all do. But you also have to acknowledge and respect the other members. Dismissing any other member for *any* reason is not only disrespectful to the member itself and all the hard work and dedication they put into becoming a K-pop idol and the right they have as a human being, but also disrespecting the other members that you prefer and are your biases. After all, these groups you stan are just that, groups. They debuted as a group, not as a solo, which means you need to have the same amount of respect for your non-biases as you do your biases.
If you have a problem with that, then just focus on stanning just solos
As a Stray Kids stan, Its disgusting hearing how much hate the other members get who aren't Hyunjin, Felix etc. And even Hyunjin, being as popular he is, gets so much hate. And for what. This comes from someone whose main biases are Felix and Hyunjin. The amount of disgust and embarrassment I feel as a Stay from other Stays who continuously disrespect members like Changbin is just crazy. Stays (and any fan of K-pop) should be better than this
Especially knowing how much Stray Kids love each other, I'm sure that for fake Stays to just go ahead and disrespect their fellow members in front of their face hurts them deeply.

I'm glad you approached this problem with a level head. I've seen a lot of problems like this in the kpop world and I jave to say way too many people go off of what they're told and don't actually dig into the situation. I’m just going to clarify something here. The TVXQ member wasn’t poisoned by a saseng. They were an anti-fan who stalked him and the group. That person wanted him to die, hence why superglue was in the drink.
These people claim they care about their idols and then their actions are the complete opposite of that. Stalking them during their private schedules, supporting certain members rather than all, the list goes on. These people tend to have big platforms which I feel allow them to have these experiences. Moral of the story stop idolizing these kpop influencers. They’re not famous, they’re normal people. People that want to be perceived as innocent and sweet but when the cameras are off they aren’t.

I completely agree with the sentiment of not equating her to a sasaeng as many people like to throw around that term without thinking and i want to thank you for bringing that up. however i also think that you are glossing over a lot of questionable things that she has done. I follow her on instagram and I’ve been leaving some nice comments on her posts from the tour. all of a sudden my replies are being blown up with harsh comments not even directed at nicole, but at me for complimenting a “sasaeng”. now at first I didn’t even know about all these accusations, but I figured if kpop stans are mad about it, it’s probably nothing. then I actually look into it and it’s even less than nothing 😑 the fact that people connect being an ot4 or ot3 stan to criminal activity is the most insane thing to me. Music is supposed to be something that brings people together. It shapes people regardless of their ethnic background, not to mention the fact that music IS an important symbol in various cultures. I'd even argue that music is a language of its own. You don't need to understand it to love it, it's a universal thing, which is why I am actually so disappointed about this entire situation. It baffles me to see that so many people think otherwise. Even more disappointing when you realize that these idols work so hard everyday, yet we get to hear their music for free. Why not treat music like a gift? a lot of people including me have free access to the internet, so why not use it to support your artists? it is saddening to see that a lot of people don't care about the music their favs create and only care when it comes to their looks.
