Aaah!!! The joy of walking around a book shop and holding new books with crisp pages in hands! Bliss.....!!!! 🥰 Those sunflowers ♥️🌻 Great video as usual, Ciara!
I was excited to go to a restaurant and gave a nice lunch where I just sat down, and didn't have to worry. I went to my local Panera Bread with my phone and just ate my tomato soup and grilled cheese whole listening to my favorite podcasts.
Glad to hear you are going back to work. Thank you for sharing about not doing yoga for a while! I’m trying to get more into a yoga routine and it’s kind of nice to hear that you have periods where you aren’t motivated to do yoga, particularly as I use your videos to practice! It stops me feeling so guilty! Great book haul, I loved It’s a Sin so I’m going to have to pick up Great Believers
we've been out of lockdown in australia melbourne for a while so its weird hearing of people just coming out of lockdown in the uk. enjoy your book shopping!
Always a joy to Watch your videos! Cant wait to be able to travel again and come in UK to visit some small lovely town and explore new places and bookstore and coffeshops... Do you live in York? I have been there, and would love to see it again, so full of atmosphere... A big hug from Rome♥️
🐇 missed Gatsbys cameo this week but still love all the architecture clips! Yay piercings!! I used to love getting pierced but my current occupation frowns upon such activities lol.
I just had to pause this video at the very beginning when I realized that I recognize the city walls. In fact, I have a photo sitting there some 13 years ago during my very first trip to England. Oh memories... :-)
This vlog is fantastic. I watched it with my Sunday baked potatoes ! So now I associate you with relaxing even more : D I told u once I have health problems so whenever u feel bad about your weight I want to tell you girl be happy you don't have a serious illness. But on the other hand it's much better to stretch than to feel stiff, I know...have fun with coming back to work : D ☕🥪
Oooh that sounds lovely! And that’s so true, always very grateful to have a healthy body - just wasn’t feeling my best and a good stretch always helps!
I live in Austria (I'm Hungarian) and although the bookshops are open I don't read in German so I don't really buy books here, sometimes books in English but I still prefer Hungarian. I haven't been home since December and in December and I already read all my physical TBR so now I'm living out of my E-book which is not a problem but I want some book smell!!! Hopefully I can get home in a couple of weeks and finally I can go to the book shop.
Hello. The 22nd of April was my birthday 🎂 so I ordered some books from Amazon. I am a huge romance reader so I got some from Amazon. The books I got I have to say that I love the covers. I can’t wait to read them.
Wow! I actually plan on picking up Where The CrawDads Sing this weekend because I'm curious what the hype is all about, it's also part of Reese's bookclub, and she will be producing the film as well. Can't wait to hear your thoughts, Ciara!💜 It's the first time I notice on a video that you had your hair down. I'm obsessed!🥰
Such a lovely vlog❤️I really enjoyed it! I remember you were not a great fan of audiobooks and have tried some memoirs initially. Are you also enjoying more fiction as audio now? Sending you lots of love and positive vibes!
How do you feel scribt rates against audible? Do you get more for what you pay for? Toes are the absolute devil for finding anything slightly out of place 😂 I can’t wait to read Where the Crawdads sing as well.
Ooh so tricky! Both are great platforms! If you listen to more than 1 audio book a month, Scribd might be better because their monthly subscription = unlimited downloads! Whereas Audible is 1 credit/book per month! Scribd also includes ebooks but I think audible has a bigger library of audio book... I use both!!
Yay 📚 ! Oh 🌻 🌻‼️😋 pizza‼️ Ps: I just finished This Is How It Always Is, and it was an.enjoyable and emotional 🎢‼️After that I finished The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek it was bittersweet! I’m almost done with Lost In The Never Woods which is mysterious and emotional. Also I got 33 chapters and 142 pages to go in Eleanor & Park, it’s pretty angsty but it has sweet moments. Good luck with Middlemarch!
I just DNF’d where the crawdads sing 😴. Couldn’t connect with it at all. Maybe watching the movie will inspire me to try again 🙈. I wondered if you’ll be doing any more yoga vids on your other channel and if they’ll be in a new setting now you’ve moved? 🌻🌞💛
Oooh that’s interesting - I think you’re the first person I’ve heard of not liking it - interested to see how I find it! The movie definitely might help! And yes, yoga videos will definitely be coming soon! They paused because of moving, I think we have 4 videos filmed from our last setting to go live and then it will be in a new setting✨
Middlemarch really wasn't that motivating, I could never read this right after moving or anything else stressful. :D Looking forward to the liveshow though.
You know it’s a good day when ciara posts 😂
Aww this makes me so happy ahah!
Funny ! Bookshops are considered "essentials" here in France :)
Hahaha they’re certainly essential to me!!
@@ciarascorner I agree !
In Italy too :)
Also in Germany! Glad they are
that's so cool!

as soon as I saw The Great Believers, I knew I had to jump on and say this book is gorgeous, probably my favourite I've read so far this year
I’m so excited to read it!
The Great Believers was one of my favourite books of last year. It really haunted me for a long time.
It sounds like it will be a really impactful read!

Hahha, Gatsby is still chilling around the house - will try to include him more! And haha, it’s been so long since I got a piercing - so fun!
@@ciarascorner I think I heard his sneeze once when you stunned your toe. Is he liking the new house?
Yes! Both him and our cat Oscar are living with us in the new house!

I got Where the Crawdads sing today! For. $1 -brand new- at a thrift store! I’m excited to give it a go!
Woah that’s amazing - what a find!
can't wait for you to review Where the Crawdads Sing!
Super excited to read it!
I still haven't been to a bookshop since they have opened 🙈 I just have too many on my TBR and I can't justify buying more books
Hahaha it’s too tempting!

Do you recommend normal people by Sally Rooney?
Absolutely! It’s one of my favourite books of al time!
Thank you 😊. Will pick it up soon.
Maybe I know Where the Crawdads Sing for a five star read, since you bought it this week too 🤔
Yes! That’s definitely on my 5 star predictions list!

The song I used in this video was called LBL by Cospe ☺️

You should read "Hopscotch" by Julio Cortazar.
