    The tag renewal for my Triumph last year was 324.00. 193 of that was for an 'Excise' tax. Namely the RTA tax we have along a strip of western Washington that adds a tax based on the market value of a vehicle and degrades in cost based on the year it was built. It's absolutely absurd. People voted it out and our (soon to be previous) Governor took it to the WA Supreme court and had the people's decision overruled. It only impacts mainly people who live in a few counties, but my gawd is it annoying.
    Anyway it's good to see you around. Been distracted so I wasn't aware you'd moved into your new house! Congrats!! Hope you and your family are doing well. Take care!

      @@lunar-firefly hi Firefly, always good to see you in my comments section! Yep the house is great. I’ve never heard of a registration fee like that.. that’s mind boggling!

    The Rabaconda is great so long as you have the narrow bar to fit through the smaller bearings on some bikes. Ya know?

    I spent a total of $700 for Michelin tires and everything I needed to change my motorcycle tires myself. The dealerships wanted $700 just for the tires. It wasn’t that hard to do!! I know you could do it!! lol 😂

      @@danbauer3126 daaaaang dude that’s STEEP! I’m the kinda fella that just takes the wheels off the bike and brings the shop the loose wheels and tires. That’s hella labor costs!

      @ I was being cheap also. To do the tires they wanted $80 per tire and their price on the tires were like $500. So I can do my own tires in the future saving money in the long term.

      @ what kinda tire mounting unit did you go with?

    • @danbauer3126
      @danbauer3126 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ I just the tire irons and I made sure I got good slick tire bead grease and I have an old fashioned wheel balancer and the weights. I made sure that I warmed the tires up before dismounting and mounting as that helps a bunch.
