Questioner: My name is Krishna Rao. I am working as a General Manager abroad. Luckily today with one of my fortunately with…. I have come here with one of my friend who has brought me here today. Infact, Dr. Zakir, I have seen him on TV and always I had… I mean this is a great opportunity that has, God has given me to see him personally and ask a question which always I had a doubt in my life that why God didn’t create one religion or he didn’t make one religion for everybody So that peace would have been prevailed on this earth? He knew it or He never knew about it that this are the problems which are going to be faced?
Dr. Zakir: The brother’s asked a very good question, very important question. Why did not God create only one religion? Why did he create all the different religions so that there would have been no confusion, no fighting. And I agree with him. It’s a very good question. And if you read the Qur’an,
Allah says in the Qur’an in Surah Ale Imran ch. No. 3 verse no. 19
“Innad deena inda Allahial-islam”
“The only religion acceptable in the sight of Allah is Islam. Islam means submitting your will to All Mighty God”
So if you read, all the religions, All Mighty God only sent messengers to preach one religion. All the Messengers that came, right from Adam (pbuh) right down, Noah, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad peace be upon them all, all the prophets, and our beloved Prophet said there were hundred and twenty four thousand Prophets sent on the face of the earth.
And its mentioned in the Qur’an in Surah Fatir ch. 35 verse no. 24
“In min ummatin illa khalafeeha natheer”
“There is not a nation or a tribe to whom we have not sent a Warner or a guide.”
Allah says in Surah Rad ch no. 13 verse no. 7
“Walikulli qawmin haad”
“And to every people have we sent a warner.”
Now all the messengers that came brother, they taught nothing but submitting their will to All Mighty God and the basic message that all these messengers taught, oneness of God. He did not beget, he has got no mother, he has got no father, he is only one, there’s nothing like him. But due to passage of time all what the Messengers preached, it got corrupted. And if your heard my talk I mentioned that most of the scriptures that came before the Qur’an, they got changed. And Allah says in the Qur’an in several places if we wanted he could made everyone submit his will to God, everyone Muslim. See Muslim, brother; don’t take it as a religion. The real meaning of Islam is it’s a Deen, it’s a way of life, submitting your will to God and Muslim doesn’t mean a person who has a name Zakir, Abdullah, Sultan, Muslim means a person who submits his will to God. If you submit your will to God, in Arabic, I will call you a Muslim. So don’t go on the labels given Sultan, Zakir, Abdullah, Muslim in Arabic means a person who submits his will to God. Anyone who submits his will to God, he’s called as a Muslim. So all the messengers that came they taught that we have to submit our will to God. All of them taught, Monotheism. All taught Tawheed. But by the passage of time all these scriptures kept on changing. And that’s the reason All Mighty God he sent the last and final Messenger Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the last and final revelation Glorious Qur’an. Now all the messengers that came before Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), all the revelations that came before the Qur’an they were only meant for those people and for that time. Humans created fake beliefs (which they call their religion).
Quran 3:19: "Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam".
The only religion is Islam. All messengers taught us about one religion (Islam) - the oneness of God (ALLAH) - to only worship ALLAH.
Humans changed previous Holy Books/Scriptures and created their own fake beliefs. Sinning is up to humans themselves. Just like other sins which are up to humans themselves, they committed this sin (changing the scriptures and creating fake beliefs).
Quran 4:79: "What comes to you of good is from Allah, but what comes to you of evil, [O man], is from yourself"
It's also a test, and ALLAH (SWT)'s every decision is so perfect that no one can't even imagine EVER.

I am muslim alhamdulillah, but why has there not been any prophet since Muhammad (pbuh) 1400 years ago? Why do angels no longer communicate with humans? Why do miracles no longer happen?
Good question. Because if you compare how long human beings have been around, we are relatively close to the end of times and there comes a point when we stop getting reminders once we come close to a deadline. Islam was the last reminder.

How is it that the message was changed by people over time and at the same time the message was only meant for people of the time? It has to be one or the other. If the message was meant for only the people of the time, it means that different messengers preached different messages. Now the question is: how can one God pass on different messages? And it contradicts his assertion that people kept on changing the messages, meaning that the message was the same but people changed it. Very contradictory. I can't believe that people haven't noticed.
We are family despite our differences. We are descendants of Adam(AS). Islam is the religion that all the prophets(pbut) taught.
Assalam-o-Alaikum
1. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.”
2. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says, ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘ (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
3. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana Allahi Al-`Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari)
4. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet said: He who repeats after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)Will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim)
5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Azeem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani)
6. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet ﷺ (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad]
8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi]
9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi]
10. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud]
11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi]
12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim]
13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad]
14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].”
15. Say this 3 times for 6 hours worth of reward: Subhan-Allah Wa bihamdihi, ‘adada khalqihi, wa rida-a nafsihi, wa zenatee ‘arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi(Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise).” (Muslim)
Because men created religion and gods, not the other way around.
peace acquired by submission to God is sanatana dharma too.
why preach religious chauvinism, dr naik?
why not live in peace, cooperation & mutual respect?
because some of us want to be better than others/want to belong to the only true religion & other religions as false.
this is nothing but pride of the highest order.
when one cannot be happy unless another goes to hell for eternity shows a serious mental imbalance/illness.
lets just love the One & Only God, The Supreme Absolute Truth Allah aka Yahweh, aka Krishna, aka Raama etc & love one another as brothers and sisters.
