Dang this is really cool it would be really cool if u could make a pet tutorial I know they have a couple tutorials on it but idk why but I understand your tutorials a lot better
The player reference way is a bit more annoying as you need to import from blender, including all the animations and a really specific skeleton, PLUS the player reference needs to be an old player reference from Creative 1.0, not a UEFN one so it's even more annoying, and you need to hide the player manually either with Verse or something else. I prefer using the chair as like in this video, can be done mostly all in-engine, and also the player is put onto the chair, meaning so you don't need to do any Verse to hide the player at all, AND you can actually see what and where you're animating unlike blender. So making animations that work around walls, obstacles and terrain, or using items is a lot more easier.
th-cam.com/video/aFRzeHRmlY0/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared You might be able to do something like this but retarget the correct skeleton and face rig, not sure exactly how to set it up, I haven't done it before
just a pointless and overthought thing 🤷♂ really not needed for maps rn and wont make or break ANYTHING. Wouldn't even rush or add this to any map. ngl this is just a waste of dev time and the time should have been focused on something else
Just because you dont think something is useful, or doesnt apply to what you want to make doesnt mean it's useless to absolutely everyone. The matter of the fact is, even if right now, when not a lot of people are making use of these tools (why should you, look at discover), Epic adding this is supporting the capability of making great stuff later, even right now. People create in fortnite for a ton of different reasons (money, fun, passion, all not mutatally exclusive) and they want to make a lot of stuff, either conforming to the status quo or not. Like anything, the usefulness of this is subjective.
@@howtwoboss talk to much but in my opinion this is a massive waste of time 🤣 One of them things where people overthink something that's not needed and end up doing to much which ruins it
fr the best uefn tutorials on youtube 🔥🔥
i love u bro
jonesy though 💀

thank you
Great tutorial! Your content is very good. Do you have maps posted in creative?
I do! I have the codes in the description
For making custom animations for the player themselves, is the chair device method or player reference method more reliable/ better?

This basically helps a lot of people to make their own thumbnails in UEFN itself
I made the thumbnail for this video using it so it's pretty useful. Still may use blender though for renders.
Is there any way you can use live link for easier facial animations or for example record a face capture and import it

@ ah thanks I’ll have a look
can we import as image?
I don't have a good gaming PC to do that 😔
Yeah I know the feeling, I couldn't use UEFN for months because I was saving up for a decent computer to use it.
@@howtwoboss but keep doing your good content I can barely run fortnite have to go onto lowest settings
They should really just let us add the rigs from anywhere without making us migrate them...
ok now i can uninstall blender 😂

ill bet 99% of peoples maps that use this will ruin there map thinking it looks cool 😅🤣
why the face rig tongue doesn't work for me?🥲
