Our journey kicks off with a private car ride from Pune to Mahabaleshwar, setting the stage for an unforgettable getaway. Upon arrival at our hotel, we take a moment to unwind before diving into the exploration.
Our first stop is the renowned Mahabaleshwar temple, steeped in history and spirituality. After immersing ourselves in the serenity of the temple, we meander through the bustling local market, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and sampling local delicacies.
Next up, we venture to Arthur's Seat Point, a must-visit viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding valleys and cliffs. Did you know? Arthur's Seat is named after Sir Arthur Malet, who discovered this natural marvel in the 19th century. It's known for its unique geological formation, resembling a Queen's throne, and is a favourite spot among nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.
Continuing our exploration, we make our way to other nearby destinations such as Kate's Point and Elephant Point (also known as Needle Hole Point), each offering its own spectacular views and photo opportunities.
No trip to Mahabaleshwar is complete without a visit to the Strawberry Garden, where we indulge in the region's famous strawberries and mulberries, topped with decadent cream. The burst of flavours is a true delight for the senses!
Wrapping up our day, we immerse ourselves in the charm of Mahabaleshwar's main market, browsing through quaint shops and picking up souvenirs to commemorate our journey.
