I loved how the zombies felt remorse, and understood what they’ve become after they stop the hunger. It’s such a dreadful and interesting concept for zombies
The saddest zombie in my opinion was spiderman who got a second chance to see his family after becoming galactus and then killed (sandman went into him and blew him up)the peter of that earth and created the zombie outbreak on that earth. And then his family dies again and he rips off his skin.
I was actually curious why wasn't Sandman in the original Marvel Zombies because wouldn't he be really useful for fighting off the zombies since he couldn't be infected I'm thinking if he can't be infected and he can't be killed so why isn't he just fighting off the zombies it's not like they're going to team up and think of a way to defeat Sandman

I find it quite horrifying that these zombies maintain their abilities to travel to alternate universes. Imagine suddenly being attacked by a zombie version of yourself from another world.
It was written by Robert Kirkman the creator of the walking dead and invincible. It is quite obvious he wants every society to collapse quickly in his apocalyptic world. Without giving an edge to the survival rather the dead to win.
Characters have to be dumbed down and weakened in some way for a zombie storyline to even exist. Realistically, Spider-Man would never even get bit.. Wolverine would shred through zombies EASILY. Tony would realize that the disease was spread through bites and he would create suits for everyone to prevent them from getting bit. Hell, Tony would probably come up with a cure himself in just a couple of days. Marvel Zombies is just goofy overall.. I think DCEASED handled a what if zombie scenario MUCH better.
I'm pretty sure that's not the same version of the suit considering tony has a comic accurate iron armor (the legacy helmet and all), so T'Chala having a normal suit is actually accurate to the version
Wolverine and dearpool are probably the only ones who should be able to survive it so it's interesting how wolverine succumbed to it when in Deadpools own zombie comic he not only survived but served as a "cure" for the zombies
I think it is the nature of this virus. In the Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness story, the Necronomicon could not control the zombies because the origin was extra-terrestrial, so the zombies were "Dead but not undead."
I think Reed was at fault here, he spread the virus to the fantastic 4, which spread the virus to the heroes, leading to the extinction of the entire human race.
For the smartest man on Earth, Reed should probably know that giving humans a disease that makes them forever hungry probably isn't the next step in evolution

Like every comic, there are things happening that would not have, if people had their canon powers or were not stupid. Wolverine, Sabretooth, Venom and the Hulk are immune to diseases. Ironman must have been very stupid to get bitten. Magneto lost 80% of his IQ fighting the zombies at ground level without wearing metal pieces on his vulnerable parts. It was a fun little story but everything happens do the zombies "win". Getting cosmic powers by eating Galactus? Galactus having to be physically there for idk how many days instead of blasting the planet? Come on.
Iron man was not wearing his suit when he was attacked, Hulk was still Bruce Banner and Wolverine was bitten on both arms by Hawk Man and Captain America which formed the term HA from their head gear.

@@dash8425 Depends on the threat in question. He's not magically inmune, his inmune system just reacts quickly enough for it to not even affect him, but he (and others with healing factors) can be infected (see X-23 and the new straing of the Legacy virus) by something mean enough to overcome it.

I’ve always thought that this story was goofy asf, there were so many character that could have just easily solo’d the zombies and some heroes that shouldn’t even have become zombies due to things such as impenetrable skin
Nick Fury should have replied to Dr Doom, " I guess we don't need your help, we already have Tony Stark, Bruce Banner and Reed Richards to solve the problem!" His ego would never stand to be upstaged by Richards. When the Fantastic Four broke through the door Thor should have smashed the Thing in his zombie face, Storm should have lightning struck Richards Night crawler should have grabbed Johnny and took/left him on the moon. He couldn't flame, fly or breathe there. Dr Strange could have used his magic to destroy Sue. Someone should have searched for the infinaty stones or the Cosmic Cube or some time machine to stop or reverse or undo the damage. One more thing, where is Owen Reese i.e. The Molecule Man. With his control of matter at the subatomic level he could cure himself and everyone else.
Horror stories wouldn't last if smart people did smart things. That and even if they did smart things, their heroic morals would lead to more deaths. Spiderman's (and others) obsession with saving rather than killing would snowball.
Zombie stories, horror stories in general, or crossovers for big universes like these would work better if they were short stories and had the "snow globe" worldview: where they can reference stuff that happen but don't actually include due to "limited space/time constraints". This way the characters that are shown can not only be focused on more but the story writers can also study up on the characters. Ya'know, like they used to do for characters when the medium was almost exclusively comics?
They will be able to fight off the infection for a while but will eventually succumb to it, like Spider Man who has healing powers himself . They will also lose their ability to heal after that since they will be technically dead and the dead can't be healed.
Imagine someone with an ability that would classify them as living dead, say they are human but their body (the part that comes into contact with the dead) turns to a skeleton when in contact with something dead this ability would probably grant some form of immortality too. In this scenario would they be left alone as they cannot be eaten or more likely killed in some way as they threaten the existence of the undead. An interesting yet depressing thought, they either see it all happen powerless to stop it, or die knowing any fight they put up is meaningless at best, their stand never remembered or recorded.
I got over my phobia by watching The Walking Dead and laugh at some scenes. But comic books featuring zombies are a whole different level and i don't know why. I read a comic with zombies in a public library. I live in the Netherlands however the comic was in English which i couldn't read at 11 years old. So i could only see the pictures. One page always haunts me. Two sisters just hugging and saying goodbye as suddenly the next picture, one sister is a full rotten zombie trying to eat the other. Long story short: movies/series Yes. Comics big pants shatting No.
One problem with this story line on marvel zombies.. the moment Wolverine gets infected the virus cure will eventually be possible. Same way the Apocalypse virus in days of future past and other infections were eliminated. Super heroes in a rage with powers would end countless lives. As long as we got Cable, Bishop, Forge and a smart guy like Beast, all should be good. - all the blood and chaos lol!

Yes. The story of superman trying to save the world from a zombie apocalypse would be legendary! It would feature all the other heroes to but it would mainly focus on superman because he's the main hero of the world.

What threw me off but I also kinda love is that when they become zombies, they don't become brainless, they still keep their mind and morals, with how when their hunger is satiated the avengers stop and try to talk about curing themselves

well basically see theres a earth where it originated Then it was transferred to the earth trough marvels zombies 1 trough 3 so then it one person sends then trough another earth then peter from the marvel zombies earth was then some stuff happened and now that earth is infected after that the watcher was consumed by ant man then they had access to the multiverse but then other zombies arrived and the zombified peter with iron man created a cure that tony had he opened a container then the marvel zombies died most because antman snuck away then trapped sentry in a cage because when sentry would have exploded it would have the power of 10million suns that was what it was needed to do that but the watcher sent sentry to the original earth trough marvels zombies 1 trough 3. side note the watcher is eternal energy meaning he cant die in hes eternal form but in his physical form he can die but his eternal energy form he cant die. so in his physical form he died but his soul got transferred to his eternal energy form he sent sentry back to the original earth. Thats the history of MARVEL ZOMBIES

im confused about the symbiote of venom, it can’t hold an infected host but it also (most likely) can’t be eaten, can a crazy marvel fan help with this because I don’t understand it.
My introduction to the wider Marvel universe (characters like Giant-Man, Moon Knight, Luke Cage, Black Panther, Sentry, Alpha Flight, The Watcher, Nova, Forge)
The one thing I really like about these zombie comics in the marvel universe is if there's a character with a hood on or their face is completely blacked-out they don't block out the eyes or the teeth
Huh, I guess it's actually a GOOD thing that the inhumans we're so insular. Everyone forgot about attilan, even human torch, who had a girlfriend who lived there.
Marvel Zombies is one giant plot hole. While there no doubt would be characters subjected to a virus such as this as portrayed. The majority of them are built specifically to withstand viruses like this. From the pandemic point-of-view characters such as the Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Cable and so forth would/should be completely immune to this virus. If it's a Magic based virus The Heavy Hitters in that department should be immune to it as well. Overall I didn't like it.
I really enjoyed this and I'm still shocked about silver surfer and Galactus 💀 at least spider man tried to save his loved ones the old man magneto held his ground 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I can't wait for the movie
what i don't understand is galactus is a being of energy contained in his suit, how can the zombies eat him to infect him? now with hulk he has the greatest regenerative system of them all, he too should not have been able to be infected & wonderman is made of ionic energy.

The fact that the zombies are still conscious and aware of their surroundings makes this series so much better and kinda makes me root for them.

I feel like most of the combat was mostly glossed over. It wasn't until the end of issue 1 that we got to see a good fight.

well basically see theres a earth where it originated Then it was transferred to the earth trough marvels zombies 1 trough 3 so then it one person sends then trough another earth then peter from the marvel zombies earth was then some stuff happened and now that earth is infected after that the watcher was consumed by ant man then they had access to the multiverse but then other zombies arrived and the zombified peter with iron man created a cure that tony had he opened a container then the marvel zombies died most because antman snuck away then trapped sentry in a cage because when sentry would have exploded it would have the power of 10million suns that was what it was needed to do that but the watcher sent sentry to the original earth trough marvels zombies 1 trough 3.
side note the watcher is eternal energy meaning he cant die in hes eternal form but in his physical form he can die but his eternal
energy form he cant die. so in his physical form he died but his soul got transferred to his eternal energy form he sent sentry back to the original earth.

The one thing I really like about these zombie comics in the marvel universe is if there's a character with a hood on or their face is completely blacked-out they don't block out the eyes or the teeth

Marvel Zombies is one giant plot hole.
While there no doubt would be characters subjected to a virus such as this as portrayed. The majority of them are built specifically to withstand viruses like this.
From the pandemic point-of-view characters such as the Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Cable and so forth would/should be completely immune to this virus. If it's a Magic based virus The Heavy Hitters in that department should be immune to it as well. Overall I didn't like it.
