    The electric price isn't that relevant if you don't use the AC that much or don't set it to very low temperatures. I live in an apartment that charges 8 baht/ per unit. My bill is between 500-1500 depending.

      True, if you don’t need the AC on all the time that would make a big difference.

    Simple, but loaded with information. Thank you so much. I plan to move to chiang mai in a few years - do you think something walking distance to Warorot Market is going to be too touristy? I want to live in a place that has modern convenience, close to mom/pop restaurants that "feels" like Thailand (not Niman).

      Thanks Rudy, I think you could find somewhere close to that market that doesn’t feel too touristy but your probably going to look to the North East, other directions takes you straight to Thapae which is tourist central 😀

      Thanks mate! I'll have a think about a video like that, maybe vs Bangkok, I've only been to Pattaya a few times so don't have much experience there :)

    I rent my condo in Chiang Mai through Perfect Homes. They are very friendly and professional. I live in the Chang Khlan area

    I’m not a pensioner just a 25 year old reaping the fruits that Thailand has to offer - can’t give it all to the old roosters. Any way, good video. Just landed can’t wait to get stuck in

      Nice! I remember the buses to and from Bangkok I used to take, always preferred the bus to the plane/train :)

    Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it. Have you considered looking at houses for rent? We are moving to Thailand in a couple of years and are more interested in small houses than condos. Cheers.

      Thanks 😀 Yeah I’m hoping to look at house rentals as well, they are a bit harder to video as most you need to drive to on the outskirts of the city. Houses in central areas are rather expensive :)

    Is it hard to find somehwere to live in Chiang Mai now that there's so many people?

      @JonInChiangMai  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's harder that it used to be but still doable :)
