To those who thinks Chang Yi was harsh... Its not true. He loved her and wanted to keep her safe. Outside the North Abyss that fairy had a lot of people to kill her... And inside North Abyss... The fox clan and marman clan also hates her. So the most safe place for her was that room protected by his power. He was angry... Coz she never gave her explanation about that knife accident. But he constantly asked her to tell him the actual reason for stabbing(coz deep inside he never believed that she cheated him). And the anger.... Is a must man, he was stabbed and almost killed... And just think when he used force... In the entire time of confinement.... He used power to keep her on that place or to feed her the medicines.
I don't quite get why she never told him the truth which is all he wanted. Why didn't she tell him the truth? there was no reason for her not to. or does she think him hating her would make it less painful when she dies- even though he doesn't hate her but is heart broken He gave up everything to be with her. Cut of his tail and can never go home. he loved her and was devoted to her even though she's hurt him and he cant understand why. It was explained the merman's mark on her ear allows him to access her senses, so he knows what she is feeling but is confused by it all. everything he knows about emotions was what she taught him so now he is floundering

But she thought that as she is dying she should not create more troubles for him...... may b she thought that Chang Yi with his nature could never take this normally and would have done everything just to save her even if it was for just one day or he might have freeze the entire world. At that point, she knew that her truth may bind him more with her and he would never b able to move on. Besides its easy to forget someone betrayed u than the person does everything to save u. #spoiler alert In one of the last episodes she actually apologises to him for hiding everything and taking decisions for him.

ji yunhe was wrong to begining,she is play feeling changyi and it's hurting changyi alot. Changyi loves her so much and he sacrificed himself to protect her but yunhe playing his feeling and trying to kill Him stabbed his heart just to protect him. I think changyi needs to explanation why yunhe did this?because yunhe never telling him the truth in the cliff. Changyi He was very angry and sad the same time and jaelous to her brother,maybe is accamulate angry,sad and jeoulous to explode like the bom😭

Is it possible to get an idea of which episode this is from? This is a tremendous series...probably the best story in Cdrama I've seen so far, amazing acting displaying such a range of emotions (the main characters Ji Yunhe, Chang Yi and others too!) and philosophic teachings! Also, After episode 22, there are no more English language subtitled full episodes!!! Can someone help with translating the later episodes? I'm struggling to fill in the gaps of the story and understand what happens. Thank you!
