G'day Mr H greetings from Australia I've been watching you for a while Mr H on my TV I can't comment on it I have to use my phone so I finally got round to doing that I'm just like to say how I enjoy your show so much thank you Richard
Nice little vlog Mr H love watching you out on your bimbles shame you couldn’t find more on the mine but that’s how it goes sometimes but still enjoyable watch glad your can of coke was still waiting for you lol 😂
That does look like a Lancashire boiler. Good find ! The end of the mineral line is on Mill Lane. If you'd gone left from the farm, past the kink in the lane there is another fairly short footpath along the remains of the embankment about half way along the straight towards Park Hall Lane. The footpath ends with what looks like an old spoil tip on the left. I haven't actually been - I used the Side by Side Georeferenced maps using the OS 6 inch 1888-1915 alongside the Bing Hybrid.
Glad you explored that site, you had the weather. There was also Heskin Colliery down the road near the hall but nothing remains. Maybe they used an old boiler for a culvert for the narrow gauge track. The farm that been built on was a ruin when I visited. If you ever visit Yarrow Valley Country Park there a lovely fenced of shaft of drybones colliery and a engine block stone next to River Yarrow.
