We were lectured by Real Madrid on attacking prowess. Had the lions share of possession but Madrid looked more dangerous on every attack!
With Onana in the back its a big difference now teams won’t press us that easily which is really important especially in PL, mount still needs to prove himself and we need a striker asap overall not a bad performance passing was on point also sancho should start every game

Real Madrid is almost a set team that played Champions league almost every year. Manchester United midfield was shaky but they played better than them. But those 2 goals were brilliant ❤. No hard feelings. We'll come back stronger with a deadly striker

Why did they not include Rashford's missed chance in the first half? I wanted to see it again because it highlights how profoundly we need a striker this season
First half was 50-50 but the second half, especially after the 1 hour mark change, we dominated them.

We just lack the final ball, ofc ETH is just trying things out so we will be more prepared when the season starts. We look more comfortable on the ball at the back with Onana now tho

Onana was brilliant. The first goal was class but it was offside anyway, and nobodys blockin that second goal when GKs have no clue on what trajectory the ball will fly. He made a class save against Vini in the first half, and i love his hitmap😂
There's just no consistent goal scoaring ability without a man that just taps in the big chances. Can't rely on wingers for all the goals because they have to do way too much to even get in that position. Luckily for us Ten Hag knows this 1000x better than I do, so there's absolutely NO way he's not attracting a class striker.

This match exposed our strengths and weakness.
We has more possession, same shots and shots on target as Madrid but couldn't capitalize. There's no point keeping the ball if you can't finish.
Really impressed with Garnacho, Mount could have easily had 3 to 4 goals this preseason but...i don't know, he just needs to be more composed
