One of the best trailers in history

It's interesting how all the timeless masterpieces were disliked by many fans and critics when they first came out, mostly because they broke new ground. Critics didn't like Alien, gave 2001: A Space Odyssey bad reviews, weren't too keen on Batman Begins, et cetera. Then a few years go by, and the same people laud them as landmark films. I think we will see that with Man of Steel. Once the DC Universe movies are in full swing, Man of Steel with get some reevaluation in a new light, and it will get the praise it deserves (though already some critics are already changing their minds about it... it's amazing how fast that happens these days).

+Gustav Ramirez well, it seemed very out of scene when lois and clark kissed, that shouldnt have happened. It seemed that they only did that so stupid people would realize they are going to be a couple. They could have gone deeper in the relationship in BVS. Second, the pacing in the second act of the film was off. It was dragging for a bit. The story could have been a bit stronger. That being said I love the film, like it's a 8 out of 10 in my book. But no masterpiece. But the score is a masterpiece I'll give you that.

Well, for the kissing part, I think it's best if I show you how that scene is described in he movie's novelization:
_For a moment, she feared that she was going to lose him to the Zone after all, but he came through for her once again. With a determined expression, he kept himself rooted to the Earth-and reality. A warm smile promised that he wasn’t going anywhere. They kissed amidst the ruins, seizing the moment after all they had been through together. The Phantom residual glow subsided, and a much more earthly warmth enveloped them. Lois savored the kiss, grateful that they had finally made it this far. Thank God he kept saving her life-she would have hated to have missed it.The sun was still setting when their lips finally came apart_.
Nothing really seems that out of place for me here.
i was so hooked up by this trailer that it became my most anticipated movie of all time. Even till now, no movies beat that feelings.
Hands down one of the best teaser trailers I have EVER seen. Always gives me goosebumps.

I remember seating at the Movies and the trailer started playing that song when Gandalf dies on the background, and I had no idea that it was a Superman's trailer. I got goosebumps when I realized it was a new Superman movie, and they had picked EPIC Lord of The Rings soundtrack for it. YEAAAAAAAAAAH!!

I'm studying Cinema and Film at MWSU and was a part of a small-time indie film company who produces everything from ads to short films long before that. We're filmmakers, and we've won awards for our work. And our Cinema prof. has worked directly with Ridley AND Tony Scott.
I love how there are two trailers, one with Russel Crowe's voice over (as Superman's father), and this one. Can't wait!
I am hearing Russel Crowe in this one... not Kevin.
Yeah, but Kevin was objectively awful with his role. Rusty was actually one of the decent performances in this film.

For some reason Hollywood took over a decade to learn that in order to make a great super hero movie, you have to make it EPIC... I'm glad we're finally there.

This trailer shows humanity, it has wonderfull music, it says about choice superman can make and it is only a teaser, well done Chris and Zack
We are less than 2 weeks away from getting the Superman movie we all deserve.
If you watch the flying at the end a few times you see that just as he's breaking the sound barrier he throws his fist forward. I just thought I'd bring everyone's attention to a very subtle but cool visual that's iconic Superman. It's not overdone or flashy, but it's there. I think we're going to see a film that's faithful to the Character of Superman. Not a sequel, not a prequel, and not and adaptation of a Comic. But and independant study of this Character and his world. Anyone else excited?
This World needs a Hero now more than ever.
It's time to find your inner Greatness gentlemen.

Just saw the movie. Wow, it never stops with music, and action. The movie never shuts up or slows down enough for me to figure out what is going on.

the song used in the man of steel trailer can actually be found on the Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack,. In that film it plays just after Gandalf fell and the group fled from the orcs.
From the two versions, this is the more emotional.
If I had a time machine I would go 1 year in the future just to see this movie SUPERMAN is going to be awesome!!!!!!!!!

The comic-con trailer had the Thin Red Line theme playing and is the one i hope the release as the theatrical, They don't have a finished soundtrack from Hanz Zimmer yet so i think those two songs were the best possible choices as it fits the tone perfectly.

"YOU'RE NOT JUST ANYONE" - this is the definition of SUPERMAN for me! He's NOT like others; other SuperHeros!
This movie became a classic for me. It was by far the best Superhero film i've seen next to the Batman trilogy

@mrorangestormstudios-Not quite sure what you are talking about. Batman has been known as the Dark Knight since around the '70's (even before Frank Miller) and Superman has been known as the Man of Steel for a whole lot longer.

I have full confidence that Snyder is going to make the next generation of Superman. Donnor had his generation of Superman fans and now Snyder is ready to give us ours.
if you think about it superman has one of the most darkest stories, when he was a baby his parents shipped him off to earth and all of his species/people died, he is pretty much the only one left of his kind and he is stuck in a world that is not his as a lone wolf to fend for himself and protect everyone else, who was ever there to protect superman? pretty much no one, honestly it would be really awesome if this movie focuses on his struggle in becoming the man of steel, the protector of earth
Its going to be the best one yet guaranteed, this trilogy it's definitely going to be better then the dark night trilogy I can see that happening for sure
