I'm not married or pregnant, yet, and it is a subject I think about often just so I'll know what direction I want to go when the time comes. Gosh, that was just fantastic and now I can't wait to watch more.
Also I fully agree with the whole homework is bullshit in preschool & kindergarten. I pulled my kid out ( this was over 20 something years ago.)of preschool. I ended up homeschooling them because we weren't going to subject either child to the nonsensical notions and belief systems of an educational system that I didn't agree with. They both turned out fine & somehow survived without having homework in preschool! They went to our local community colleges early college program at age 16 for free. So the message here is...As mothers we need to trust our own instincts regarding our kids. Other people will judge and think things but it really doesn't matter in the long run.
I am not even a Mother, I am a son of an amazing Mother, and I so agree with what you are saying. Go with what YOUR true and utter gut instincts are about your own kids.... not every one's kid is the same in this world. Not every kid wants to nor needs to learn things in the same ways that others do and or want them to.
