You're 100% on the money here! I love watching videos of him playing ginormous intros and just chatting away, chill AF 🙏🏻 an absolute legend and hero. Sorely missed
I used to share a flat with his "supplier of party products" so got to know him fairly well and he was so funny, so well read and as for musical knowledge, well, we all know what a legend he was/still is in that regard. I was talking to his brother Ian and he said that just before Andrew died he said "it's around the corner... the end of the world... " then a few days later he passed away. His last release was called "the end times" as I'm sure you know. God bless. you. PS regarding never selling out, we would often go to see him play in little bars and clubs in East London where he played for free to 200 people rather than fly to the far east for £20,000.
I had tickets to see him in Morocco and Croatia that year. I'll always remember where I was when I got the news of his passing. Thankfully I was lucky enough to see him DJ many times over the years and meet him and Sean in Croatia. Great man sadly missed.
@@NECinho Agreed. He will never be forgotten because there is SO much love for the man and his music that it is here to stay. (Even though the world might end next week!! We will all be rocking in the Spiritual Sky!!
An old schoolmate asked him for the name of a tune whilst he was playing at Cream -circa 1994 . Andrew took his address, sent him that and 3 other records. Says it all I suppose. I always wondered why he held him in such regard....and you listen to his sets now and its so clear .The selection , sequencing and mixing are just something else. This is a treat for the senses.
Ha, ha, I just tried to find out but could not get a thing. Moodyman, did you check on him? Iam lost...On the other hand its fun to be surprised. What about the Acid tune 1.13.12?
I love that AW was never in a rush to get to the next track, his earlier mellow mixes were so soothing, as was this mix. A legend, sadly missed
It is indeed, all about restraint

The guv'nor never lets you down. No longer with us in physical form, but still shining bright. AW4EVER X
I actually think his light shines even brighter now. Look how much love there is from thousands of people all over the world.

Still better than most mixes. Long-live his works
Shameful that at the time of posting only those lucky enough to be there and 544 others can add this to there National record of achievement!
What a man! I read the intro and couldn't help shed a tear. I sure wish I'd have met the Gov'nor...
