    Paid them $150 & charged a $100 booking fee? No wonder ppl left territories. WWE has issues but at least they paid well. Charging 2/3 of what you pay someone is highway robbery!

    • @thaddeuscheeleyjr.369
      @thaddeuscheeleyjr.369 2 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      The stallion didn't pay them, the WWF did. They were not full-time contractors so they were paid per match (partially due to the fact that a wrester having a match was not garanteed often and paying them more while not being apart of the company was not a smart business model.
      What's being said here is that the Stallion is the one who had connections to WWF and would book the Hardyz for their matches as their manager, but being their manager meant he knew they were paid 150 per match and would just take 2/3 of that as payment for booking them. He was scamming them, sure, but he wasn't the one paying them directly. Hence, them calling WWF and telling them to cut out the middleman.

    • @redbuick

      Is getting potentially hurt for life worth 150 dollars a night? I get it that people have aspirations and goals to make it in the business, and will work hard from nothing to get to somethting. But for hired wrestles to give their best for a company that's been growing on a global scale for decades, is crazy.

    When I was a kid I carried the Italian Stallions flag to the ring at an independent show. Haven't heard of him again until now

      At least he wasn't a pimp, like Moolah has been alleged to be. It's also brilliant that the Hardys have gone on to become one of the greatest tag teams of the Attitude Era, and barely anyone at the moment knows who this wankstain is.

    The difference between the Hardys and this guy is that I've heard of the Hardys. Bet that $100 seems pretty inconsequential now

    $50 is more than most make on the indies. You're lucky to get a free meal when you're at that point.

    So really they worked for free or rather they most likely paid to work since the $50 the pocketed wouldn’t have covered travel expenses back then not to mention medical expenses from their injuries.

    Man I make 50 each show too and I asked for a pay raise and this booker said “wrestlers shouldn’t ask for anything just be grateful you’re on the card” and that’s why I’m on FITETV, IWTV and I’m featured on the WWE Network/Peacock and he’s still in a barn.

    The only way this could’ve been better is if he managed the Full Blooded Italians and got the Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb.
