Sir, the craziness for govt jobs is also bcoz of lack of quality education at the College, University level which spoils Indian youth's precious time, but doesn't develop any skill. None of our universities are in World's top universities, bcoz the teaching-learning methodology is of no practical use. Such a poor education system won't produce entrepreneurs, which India needs to become a 5 trillion economy.
I got a chance to look at Delhi technological University. I was amazed that a flow diagram is taught on black board about coding. I asked the person who was giving me tour that what the hell are they doing instead of writing codings on their computers Indian universities only teach how to be a good clerk

It's been 4 months almost.. financially there is gain, work wise there is order. And work life balance is much much better here. I had forgotten that once you email you would get a reply automatically that too within a day.. but then there were people chasing you in old organization and felt like being part of big system or someone important or something like an irreplaceable person. So many things and people depended on you. Now it's like you are just a cog in the system, a very small part who can be replaced any time. However, my family is very happy, I'm back with them. At the end, job is just a job. Family matters more. Let's see where life takes me.
Very good point is future perspective of Govt Jobs....one can see contractual staff and casual workforce in Govt department. We are heading towards that way wherein most of the functions of Govt will be outsourced . Reservation will become irrelevant. That is the only way.
You are educating right way, level & charm in Govt job is gradually decreasing. Young generation should not run behind Govt jobs as in future they are likely to decrease in number package may not be compatible with private jobs , inspite they should develop some skills, specialization and spark themselves to become entrepreneurs. This way, younger generation will not only help themselves, but to Govt. as well.
Apart from govt jobs, there is reservation in premium education institutes. So if reservation increases, any meritorious student cannot become an IITian/doctor.

There is reservation in government jobs that includes reservation in IAS, IPS, UPSC, Assistant professors, grade a, b, c posts, even in RBI and bank posts... also in private sector there is indirect reservation through reservation in colleges like IIT, IIM, DU etc.. companies don't get to look whether the students sitting in placements are general or SC ST.. Although they get lower packages in general but still a meritorious student could have made more out of the opportunities in these premier colleges
I am sorry sir but abhi bhi govt job me koi work pressure nahi hai. I am also in govt job i see senior employews getting salary 1.5 lakhs and many days they do not even take pen out of their pocket. No transfers as all the post are zonal wise and you will be in that particular zone lifetime.

You have to consider the fact that Indian youth is forced/compelled to work for wayy low wages, as compared to the same in any other country. I am a big believer in my country's path to success, but this needs to change. Indian people are one of the most creative group, when it comes to corporate, yet it takes, on an average, 10 years to earn a 6 figure salary. The story of govt. Jobs is same as IITs and IIMs. Like you said, i am a big believer that first people's mentality needs to change, and when they start "respecting" every other profession, only then "we" will prosper. Sir good evening In 2018 LDCE for promotion to the post of SO was conducted in which 2 vacancies were clear and 2 were anticipated (1st on A/c of retirement and 2nd was due on a/c of promotion of Mr. X as he was kept in a sealed envelope and the case was pending in the CAT). Later on, anticipated 01 of vacancy was aroused on a/c of retirement and accordingly 3 persons were promoted. As per verdict of CAT in April 2022, the 2nd anticipated vacancy was also aroused due to the promotion of Mr. X from back date i.e. from 2017, who was kept in sealed envelope This 2nd vacancy was aroused after publication of notification of the next LDCE in 2022 but before preparation of the Panel/result of this LDCE of 2022. Then the Officer Mr. A requested to his dept. to offer him promotion from 2018 as he was next FIT candidate in the panel of 2018 LDCE and till then no new panel was prepared and as per verdict of CAT vacancy was aroused from 2017. But no action was taken by the dept. Meanwhile on declaration of result of 2022 LDCE, Mr. A was again qualified and promoted according to his position in 2022 LDCE. Mr. A again submitted a representation to his dept with the request to consider his seniority from 2018 since as per notification of LDCE 2018 there were 4 vacancies notified and due to verdict of CAT the vacancy was aroused from back date I.e. from 2017, but his dept.has not replied. what non sense. I know grade b officers, they make 60-70k in-hand and 60k through bribe every month. Now, it is very difficult to ask for bribe, several govt agencies will launch investigation against you. Gone are the golden days of sarkari babus.

Unki kya unki family ki tak life set nhi hoti, frequent transfers to small cities. Agar wife working ho toh she’ll have to forcefully leave her independent lifestyle, bachho ka chhote se chhote sheharo mein education (they don’t have great quality nor good schools) no family time. I’ve had my dad come home at 12 or even 2 am into the night after work. Especially politicians/chief minister ke liye 25/8 kaam par rehna padta hai. The “powerful” you speak of is a myth, they don’t have any power, they just accept/execute proposals, they don’t contribute to the country, they’re the extra help politicians need for administrative work.

Mr. A again submitted a representation to his dept with the request to consider his seniority from 2018 since as per notification of LDCE 2018 there were 4 vacancies notified and due to verdict of CAT the vacancy was aroused from back date I.e. from 2017, but his dept.has not replied.

सांगवान साहब , आपने futility or say ineffectiveness of रिजर्वेशन पे तो बात साफ करदी । हुजूर , लोगो को पढ़ाई की रिजर्वेशन कभी clear करदें । पर आपने बीमारी का इलाज तो बताया ही नहीं ? गांव के बच्चे चाहे किसी के भी हों , उन almost अनपढ़ मास्टर्स से पढ़ रहें हैं जिनको उनके दादा बाप ये नेता जी ने लगवाया था ! समस्या है कि उनका IQ level भी कम है , भाषा और skills की भी कमी है ! शरीर भी और abto will Power भी कमजोर है । वो करे तो क्या करें ? संख्या तो बहुत ही ज्यादा है ,पर मरोड़ और नखरे उनके और बाप के भी कम नहीं ।

But don't we need competent people for govt jobs too, general people are dependent on govt for their day to day life, what will be the state of those, so may be then people will come in govt job only if they like to do that work means knowing that no matter no special perks are there they would still go for it.

An IAS officer makes atleast 25 cr in his career and b grade officer makes 10 cr too.
what non sense. I know grade b officers, they make 60-70k in-hand and 60k through bribe every month.
Now, it is very difficult to ask for bribe, several govt agencies will launch investigation against you.
Gone are the golden days of sarkari babus.

Last month mere known me ek ladki ne ladke se saadi ka rista isliye mana kar diya kyoki ladka IAS hain aur ladki was not comfortable to marry an IAS.

@@endlessjoychannel71 that’s the biggest misconception one could have about ias officers. My father is an ias officer aged 40+ unke life mein koi chain nhi. Unki kya unki family ki tak life set nhi hoti, frequent transfers to small cities. Agar wife working ho toh she’ll have to forcefully leave her independent lifestyle, bachho ka chhote se chhote sheharo mein education (they don’t have great quality nor good schools) no family time. I’ve had my dad come home at 12 or even 2 am into the night after work. Especially politicians/chief minister ke liye 25/8 kaam par rehna padta hai. The “powerful” you speak of is a myth, they don’t have any power, they just accept/execute proposals, they don’t contribute to the country, they’re the extra help politicians need for administrative work.
