Subsequently, I returned to Lord Jesus and was surprised that he, and all the Jewish and Christian prophets - all pointed to the same truth. Then I went back to Islam to take a second look. There was God speaking through the instrument of the prophet. All I had to do was persistently practice being empty of a personal existence, to be still , to surrender myself as this ego. To let the perceptions explain themselves and not a "me" judging it, naming it. And in the moments when the fog of illusion would clear out from this consciousness, there was a peaceful and satisfying witnessing that only God is this Present Moment - all of it. I am my brother, I am that rock, I am that sky. I am he, and he is me. ALL life is sentient. For instance, our genes hold all the Wisdom of the Uni-Verse. Uni-Verse means “One Song”. The feminine aspect of God seems to be excluded here which is surprising from authors like Ibn arabi and. Balyani .. Is it a matter of mis-translation? Thank you, nour ala nour
it likely comes from a translation of the arabic word ‘huwa’ (هو) which can mean literally “he” but is also used for instances where gender is unknown, ‘hiya’ (هي) or “she” is only ever used in the feminine form, while huwa can technically describe something either or neither male/female and Allah does not have a gender, so هو is used
Well, Ibn Arabi was a muslim saint thus follows the Quran to the last dot. Quran describes God in masculine and plural terms (We) and ibn arabi is following that in his description of God.

Same question here. Ibn Arabi had always been in debate with other philosophers of his time. It’s probable that he is responding to something they had said. I’m going to research that
Hello there. Passing away of that passing away means that the personality is completely annihilated in the Essence that you are not even aware that you you had a personality. When we become aware of only our Essence or God or the Soul, we don't even know we had a personality or ego. God will be all and all we will be aware of as our Reality and Being.
It's funny that quantum physics is discovering all these words in this book. I'd not know why so much knowledge was lost in the world and at some times I wonder how I come to know things people dont know
"You don't know god if you believe you can pass away" "everything passes away except his face" "Acknowledging that others subsist from him is polytheism" I found myself scratching my head at many supposed contradictions of both the text itself and of the verses within the quran. I am surprised no one in the comments has brought them up. I usually appreciate sufi texts in their devotion to transcendentalism in monotheistic worship but when the "self" is introduced and elaborated upon it seems to fall apart logically. And it cannot be argued that "it's both" because that would introduce polytheism. The quran states that of knowledge, we have only been given a little, yet it appears as if this sufi text attempts to deny that fact by asserting that it is even possible to fully know the self and then through that knowledge, fully know God. This was an interesting thought experiment, but it ultimately does not hold itself up when put under scrutiny nor when compared to the original text of Allah's authorship, the quran.
not really because the self and other are still one i think that "others subsist from him is polytheism" means that like there is no True Other to God, because god is everything/everyone as humans, we do indeed not have the full knowledge of reality, but that is merely an illusion, but also right now a truth in our current 'normal' experience when you realize yourself as god, and reach a state where you experience being god, the illusion reveals itself as such and you get to experience everything (i think this is known as Haqq-ul-yaqeen in sufism)
@@Aspiracy it doesnt matter if reality is an illusion, we do not have full knowledge of anything, be it reality or the truth (God). Not even the prophets on them be peace have uttered likeness of themselves to their creator, some things are plain and simple and it appears as though sufism flirts with the risk of likening wayward mysticism to spiritual wisdom. There is a necessary humility in constantly asking for God to guide us and never acting as if we can guide others. These texts are actually mere opinions of people whereas we have the literal word of God to spend life studying (the glorious quran). My own reflections tell me to veer away from this kind of writing because i believe it requires arrogance and hubris to maintain, and these are clear vices that God tells us to banish from the heart. Ultimately, I can only put my faith in God alone.
@@noosy530 that is true. follow your own path and heart, any text from anyone is something you choose to consider in your journey or not, but in the end, you will return to god and will realize it by yourself. "Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth.” as rumi says.
The prophet of mohamadans left the quran only, where does it say whoever knows himself knows his lord? Nowhere. So why attribute such a saying to him at all?
I looked up this saying and if people accepted this hadith that says "whoever know themselves, knows their Lord", and I found out it's not really accepted and people say someone else said this.
Honestly, Islam pre Saudi oil money was beautifully practiced around the world. Then with money came the influence of Salafism and Wahhabism and its infecting all previously Sufi Islamic countries, bringing in a strand of super hard line and intolerant Islam. It’s so so sad.
Replace God with Nature, as per Spinoza, as labeling as Him creates a dualism that God, or Nature, is also not a Her, does not possess the feminine aspect of existence. The One or Ground of All Being, also worthy names for God, however That which cannot be named is most apt, as Being is always conditional and is unable to account for itself, without something prior.
instead of being so narrow how about you focus on the teachings rather than semantics these people have different language and culture they only use that term to refer the source. most of these cultures have to end up bending the knee so that other lesser beings can understand and conceptualize it
You are not you, it is only it and 'everything' happening spontaneously . Just the concept of the me existing in this body is really an ilusion. The rest is real
I like the way you describe god and the fact that the is nothing came in existance beside god the creator.......god is so huge and is a huge energy source......What i do not agree with this book personification god.....god is not a man or woman
This is extremism because Tawhid is Pure Monotheism from the Quran and Sunna based on the understanding of the Salaf Salih. While this is philosophical emotionalism that veers off the straight path into the pagan thought patterns of pantheism. It is an overcompensation of inadequacies in understanding filled with an emotional obsession to the point of a fault, producing an intoxicating ecstasy wherein one goes overboard in expression into Shirk.
Your comment is extremism, nothing but a pure expression of idolatry. There's nothing to win here for you neither is there a favour to fall upon you. Your hypocrisy and segregation stands no chance in the light of truth. May you find peace along your way.

This was an interesting thought experiment, but it ultimately does not hold itself up when put under scrutiny nor when compared to the original text of Allah's authorship, the quran.
yes it does!
not really because the self and other are still one
i think that "others subsist from him is polytheism" means that like there is no True Other to God, because god is everything/everyone
as humans, we do indeed not have the full knowledge of reality, but that is merely an illusion, but also right now a truth in our current 'normal' experience
when you realize yourself as god, and reach a state where you experience being god, the illusion reveals itself as such and you get to experience everything (i think this is known as Haqq-ul-yaqeen in sufism)
@@Aspiracy i appreciate your gentle candidness :) wishing you eternal success.
who do we give gratitude to ?
Your Self, God, all beings, life itself.

The prophet of mohamadans left the quran only, where does it say whoever knows himself knows his lord? Nowhere. So why attribute such a saying to him at all?
Thanks!
🙏⛲️🙏
-38.19 he said alienated instead of annihilated.

I looked up this saying and if people accepted this hadith that says "whoever know themselves, knows their Lord", and I found out it's not really accepted and people say someone else said this.
Thankyou
Sounds familiar.

That's a lot of He's and Him's in here...
I'm pretty clear on one thing, he is not a him!
instead of being so narrow how about you focus on the teachings rather than semantics these people have different language and culture they only use that term to refer the source. most of these cultures have to end up bending the knee so that other lesser beings can understand and conceptualize it
I get it…. But I’m also a psyche patient. “Cosmic mania they call it. Humph.

I find the Mohamed part very confusing, I would apreciate someone trying to phrase it differently so maybe I can better understand.
Best to just take what you get and let go of any confusion.
@@ZenPsych throw the Book awa y?
You are not you, it is only it and 'everything' happening spontaneously . Just the concept of the me existing in this body is really an ilusion. The rest is real
I like the way you describe god and the fact that the is nothing came in existance beside god the creator.......god is so huge and is a huge energy source......What i do not agree with this book personification god.....god is not a man or woman
god is polymorphic it is everything including you

the worst translation of the real writings ever made imo .

Nonsense
lmao point black your saying you got nothing from this book lol...how disappointing
You really read this words as it were text.
Nobody needs that.
If you haven't seen it, you cannot read it, so better don't.
Lawlessness and whimsical desires are the religion and God of the zindiq
Your comment is extremism, nothing but a pure expression of idolatry. There's nothing to win here for you neither is there a favour to fall upon you. Your hypocrisy and segregation stands no chance in the light of truth. May you find peace along your way.
