Ex-Pakistan PM Gets Bail in Toshakhana Case as Govt Rules Out Release | Vantage With Palki Sharma
In a big relief to former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Islamabad High Court granted him bail in the new Toshakhana case related to the illegal sale of state gifts. IHC’s Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb presided over the hearing on Imran's bail petition today. “The petitioner is cautioned not to misuse the concession of bail and appear before the learned trial court on each and every date of hearing unless a specific exemption is granted by the said court," Justice Aurangzeb mentioned in the order. Though, Imran Khan is unlikely to walk out of the jail as he faces charges in numerous other cases. He has been in jail since August 2023. The Toshakhana-II case revolves around allegations against Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi over retaining an expensive Bulgari jewellery set gifted by a foreign leader-including a necklace, earrings, bracelets, and rings. While Bibi secured bail in the case from the IHC last month, Khan remained behind the bars.

Imran Khan's bail has been approved, but the government has kept Imran Khan unconstitutionally, the government does not want to take Imran Khan out, in which you appeal to the media to support Imran Khan.There is a great need for the support of the international media to help Imran Khan come to power
