Tuning in from North Carolina and loving the trip. Hiccups are an absolute guaranteed part of an adventure. There will be rewards along the way though;)
Good luck boys. This country is bloody huge and vast which you are experiencing first hand. Regardless of weather you make it or not, it doesn’t matter. You’re having a crack so good on you fellas. Fly safe
Nice one boys, hopefully the weather is better soon. Gutted for Scott, then there were 2. Keep the great TH-cam content Rich. You boys will smash it 🤘🤘
Ace update and gutted about the weather hampering your efforts and Scott having to pull out! You and Twitty are a brilliant double act though and the scenery you are flying through is incredible! Keep up the great work both flying and documenting the trip 🤙
@@rich_dolan glad to hear the spirits are still high! If they ever get down just remember what an incredible thing you are doing, and just remember how many people are cheering you on from around the world! ❤️
Amazing efforts Rich, don't feel too disheartened, what you're doing is incredible and as soon as its over you'll be wishing to go back! Safe flying & looking forward to the next video! (ps. Props to you doing this AND youtubing it at the same time!)
Can Scott just get a new paramotor shipped to him? Or whatever bit is broken? I kinda expected all motors to have issues over the distance you have planned. On suggest you order a stator for your 202, before you need it.
@@rich_dolan yes, not specifically on the 202, but on the 250. Stutters for a bit, then won't run properly. Hopefully you won't have issues, but Stews has had a few go, over the course of a couple of hundred hours. If I recall someone else also had one fail..
I love this whole mission to cross the great and beautiful Australia. I was wondering if you follow Captain Manicorn? Also another epic journey. Rock on guys stay safe, stay elevated 🌄🙏🍻
Some of them are a bit bumpy but most are fine 😁 I’ve purposely avoided putting my heavy breathing into some of the videos for the really bumpy ones though 😂
Luvly Jubbly 👌 ... really sad to hear you've lost one of your wing-men (Scot) so soon into the trip ... but I guess these things are bound to happen with such a BIG adventure ... fingers crossed for the miles ahead🤞 Oh ... and buy Twitty some sea-sickness pills 🙃
@@rich_dolan ... some of the stronger antihistamines are said to work ? ... also Ginger and Peppermint? Not sure if you'll manage to source those in the wilderness of outback though 🤔
We’ve had a couple of good days but are currently waiting for winds to drop again, waiting for a few more flights before I post the next episode, glad your enjoying them! 🤙
I love the speedster3 and sirocco3. This Speedster 3 is a 24m2 because of the all up weight. I usually fly the 20m Sirocco 3 (lightweight speedster). I think my next wing will be the Viper XC though, it’s crazy efficient and doesn’t oscillate in flight
First time using the off grid and I really like it but there’s a couple of things that I prefer other throttles over. The ergonomics for the lever, stop button and general hand position could be improved slightly. The elasticated strap means the throttle isn’t held in position while you’re doing things either which makes it a bit worse. The cruise is amazing and I wouldn’t want to do this with any other throttle because of it! The engine had about 7 hours on it
Hello dude, I record using the GoPro with mic adaptor and overlay the 360clips. You can get an adaptor for the 360 to record via lav mic but it’s a pain running the cable along the pole
I’d love to fly in Brazil! There’s a nice paramotor community in Australia but they’re spread out a bit. Try and find a local school when you get there 😁

Looking like a great adventure, bad news about Scott’s motor.
Great film, I look forward to the next episode, take care, cheers, Chris. 👍👍👍
Thanks Chris! Really appreciate the comments 🤙
Nice going Rich, the best is yet to come!
If the weather allows us 😅 thanks Steve 🤙
Gutted for Scott.. Keep smashing it, enjoying following your dots!
I’ll see if I can make some picture out of those dots for you….no promises though, it’s bloody freezing up there 😅

Good thinking….unfortunately I don’t think I can fit a single thing extra into my kit! I’m stacked out!
Enjoying the videos, looking forward to next installment. Awesome adventure!

Devastated for Scott, but so excited for you boys to continue and finish this monster of a trip!
Hoping we will finish eventually 🤞

@@nelggyboy we checked for common problems and this one didn’t come up, do you know many people who’s stators have gone?
