John Shelby Spong was possibly one of my greatest theological influences. I wish I could have met him. May his teachings live forever in the minds of all future generations of leaders.
I wish I could have told him how much he and his writings have meant to me. Unfortunately, I came across him only because of his obituary. I think about him and thank him every day.
