Congratulations on the fish. That's a nice looking griddle. I got a cast iron griddle I use on the grill and a pizza stone that fits the grill. Nice looking smokeless portable fire pit. Question if you setup your window into your truck cab and put your air conditioning on in your truck full blast will that come into your camper shell and help cool you down if you don't have an air conditioning unit for back there

We bought the 17" blackstone about a year ago and we like it a lot. Just grabbed a 5lb camping tank to use as it will go through the 1lb tanks pretty quick. Awesome videos!

Air bags and a leveling kit are awesome! I used to call them the poor man's lift kit but the ride is way better on air bags. I did an extra spring one time and that was horrible (too stiff) I've had several brands. I have Air Lift now, I think they have the best remote compressor setup.
You are absolutely right, beer always seems to taste better out of a glass bottle. Yeah, I usually try to remember to bring cans when out camping, but I always buy bottles for home. Btw, how well does that thermacell work for keeping mosquitoes out of your camper shell? When I camp alone I’m in my softopper. No real way of sealing that thing up. They always find their way in! #brianwateroutdoors
I got the AirLift air bags for my Yukon XL, was going to install them myself but squeezing them through the coils can be a pita. I have the same setup, two air nozzles, didn’t opt for the fancy automated pump. I like how they mounted yours. I also installed heavy duty coil springs and Biltstein shocks with them to get better support in the back. #brianwatersoutdoors

I started watching your channel couple videos ago and really enjoy it. I always ask the truck camping people why a truck and not a van? I am going to fix a truck or van for overnight stays at race tracks as I will be pulling a 24ft enclosed trailer with my race car in it. Thanks again!!!!!
Easy answer for me, and that is I don’t want to drive a van. This is my daily driver and it’s also what I had to start with too. If $$ was no option, sure….it would be awesome to build out a camping van.
I believe you would call that a medevac for rescue helicopters. My father growing up would never have let us have breakfast for dinner and now that I am married with my own kids we do it probably once a month at least. Breakfast food is so good and never have time to make it in the morning. Keep the videos coming. #brianwatersoutdoors
I guess I’m strange 49 is good. In the winter in ash fork Arizona it gets to 10 degrees I still have my window open little I can’t sleep with heater on it’s actually supposed to be better for you to sleep in colder temps

Haven’t even used it yet for camping/Overlanding, and now the new one is coming out. Like that the Wave 2 also has heat; kinda an all in one climate control. No, there’s a flat friction nut behind the license plate that actually holds them in place. You can remove the plate.

I honestly like to still keep a slight rake, which is why I like the to keep a little PSI in the rear

Very interested in your take on the Wave 2; we picked up the original Wave at the end of last season. Haven’t even used it yet for camping/Overlanding, and now the new one is coming out. Like that the Wave 2 also has heat; kinda an all in one climate control. Have a Delta Max as a battery bank, so we are good there.

Oh man i love my blackstone too. I bought mine on sale and it was an amazing buy, i love breakfast for dinner so i use mine like that. Also throw a couple ribeyes and some asparagus with garlic, salt and pepper. A couple burgers for the kids....easy dinner. #brianwatersoutdoors

What was it was like to clean the new fire pit to transport it back home (you know, dumping ash or wiping down prior to re-bagging). I just grab them behind the fins. They can “stab” you and I’ve had the wounds last for weeks. I usually use a towel to hold them too
