I love how his tail constantly waves around when he's standing still
That perfectly giant military intellect...
8:27 oh my god, it actually played that one riff from i'm my own master now in the background
ARM-CHAIR, GET IT? Heh, heh... Heh.
"That giant intellect."
Reminds me of...
"That great military mind."
........
Nope.. nope nope.. nope.. no.
Bladewolf at about 15:09 REALLY reminds me of Robo-Puppy.
"Bladewolf preparing to rip spine. Bladewolf commencing spine ripping. Ripping in progress. Ripping complete. Bladewolf commencing two-hour yipping session."
To be honest, I loved the idea of hunt/ninja kills for ranked areas and wish Raiden could've had those from time to time, especially for those weird areas where you can sneak, but if you do you miss a ranking fight. It felt really fun, and was an interesting addition to a game of this genre.
But that fucking platforming... grr... Also, the fact, that enemies respawn when you go into VR (in VR -_-) and you have to re-kill them again for maximum ranking. Really annoying.
Because the theme of the Bladewolf DLC is freedom and control. She is the one in control of Bladewolf so a more dominant attitude and style for her makes sense.
I don't really 'want' that chair, as much as 'want to be' that chair..
Hell yeah. More of this LP is always great.
The yellow boxes in the platforming VR missions remind me much more of the orange ones found in Sunshine's FLUDD-less missions, especially Pinna Park 6.
Oh thank the gods of Lets Plays that this magical day has come!
Man, that last cutscene, so good...
It's amazing how some of these guards don't see Wolf's ridiculous fucking cyborg tail.
I never noticed how Bladewolf pulls the chainsaw off his back with his tail when using the heavy attacks. That's a nice touch.
Awwwww shit, son! More Revengeance? And Sam on the way? Let's fucking go!
Finally.
Thank god.
I need my dose
It is pretty cool that Wolf acts basically exactly like his boss fight version.
I really loved the stealth kills on armored foes, especially the air one where he flips about 5 heat knives into their torso and ESPECIALLY the ones you do on the Grad. That said, yeah, the platforming was not good padding for it. The first half should have been where he kills Kamsin, the second half should have been him during some point in his new body during the actual game where he takes some guys out while scouting before Raiden comes in.
Okay class, try grabbing the sword with your feet.
Mistral is pretty neat.
I'm pretty sure I've seen those giant floating yellow cubes on 16th Street Mall before.
VR mission inside a VR mission, huh? Did Blade Wolf just went deeper?
I think the intention of the chair is more to reinforce her dominatrix style. The chair seems afraid of her and every scene in the throne room serves to show that she is the one in control. Butt shots are just a bonus.
"Aka the Desert Storm..." *Dubstep ensues*
Blade Wolf might not have dodge offset but he has dog offset.
Seeing how the human animation was motion captured, I wonder about that chair.
Really glad Slowbeef mentioned this LP.
Good work.
Wow, suddenly, N'Mani getting run through by Sundowner is a LOT more humane after seeing Blade Wolf's liberal chainsaw slashing.
Also I'm not sure, but I think Khamsin is a reference to the book Altered Carbon which discusses brain preservation across cloned/borrowed bodies. Not 100% sure though
Wolf's had it ruff.
I bet the cyborgs change up the smell of their cyborg juice just to tell each other apart
"Hey, what did you get?"
"Rawberry."
"Yo dawg, I heard you liked VR missions..."
cool dog
Blade Wolf versus Blade Wolf?
Shit, it's like I'm watching Zoids all over again.
Blade Wolf is a dog's rights activist, and he's sick of being man's best friend-zoned.
So when you join Desperado, do they just have an encyclopedia of obscure wind terms. "Here, pick a nickname." "Uhh...Breeze." "...Fuck you. Get out.'
Petition to get Ironicus his own dog-shaped-robot-buddy
At least the DLC explains parrying better than the main game.
Bladewolf should be in doganime. Gin would've been radical with this kind of dog.
NO HEAT KNIFES, DOG-SHAPED ROBOT BUDDY ONLY, FINAL DESTINATION.
...I'm sorry.
You know, for being a stealth oriented dog-shaped robot buddy, Wolf should know better than to roar/howl? when in the middle of a stealth op.
No, I don't care that he made it to a waypoint.
Does Mistral have the same VO for Sylvia in NMH? I swear she's going to tell Blade Wolf to go to the Garden of Madness at any second.
Were you meant to be replying to me? I'd say Mistral in this DLC was portrayed adequately for the villain role, the dominatrix style isn't entirely a sex thing as shown in the DLC where it manifests itself through treating all the robots like crap and talking down to Wolf. Keep in mind her physical appearance is in line with Monsoon, Sundowner, Raiden and Sam as cyborgs. Dominatrix style dominance isn't the only way for a female in charge to be portrayed but for a hack'n'slash villain it's fine.
They are different voice actors but they do sound a like
I just thought the dudes at the very beginning who were super-blind were, like, supposed to be on Blade Wolf's side right now, since this is before he runs off. Blade Wolf is just a dick when he tries to go for S-Ranks and ends up killing them for points.
That guy's face reminds me of Mr Incredible. That is probably why he looks weird.
Why did Jack from Tekken change his name to Desert Storm?
Doge offset.
Booty grab chair is just...
I'LL BLOW US ALL TO HELL FIRST!
they really said "haha woman sit in butt grope chair"
What I hated about this DLC is the fact you don't get to play as bladewolf when he was scouting ahead for raiden. It'd be really cool to play a good part of the regular story but from the perspective of bladewolf. oh well
