Roy Colsey, one of the most recognizable names over the past 30 years of men's lacrosse, was formally inducted to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame at the Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley, Md.
I grew up watching Colsey in person at the Dome, along with those incredible Syracuse teams of the 90s. Excellent shooter and a great athlete. Not always the best decision maker - ahem, some of his trick shots and such in not the best situations, but a excellent lacrosse player that was fun to watch. Roy, you son of a bitch, we played eached other in high school, and i still remember how badass yorktown smoked everyone else in the area. at least we beat lakeland a few times, and i decked rick beardsley once. And Paul Sullivan, my childhood friend, scored the winning goal in OT against VA in 1996 for Syracuse. Whatever - man, good on ya. Our generation lead thousands to the sport. Be happy!
