It would be so much better if Mohoyo gave a unique skill and burst to Alhaitham. Why did they copy and paste Keqing's skill and burst to Alhaitham? His normal and charged attacks are awesome. I only have problem with his skill and burst. So if I have Alhaitham then I would make him a physical dps coz his normal attacks are awesome ehe. But I'm going with Hu Tao coz last time when she came I was a completely new player and lost 50/50 to Mona :( I didn’t know that time that there is a 50/50 rule in wishing aaa... Hopefully I get her this time.
his burst animation is not actually the same as Keqing's, nor is it reused from her. his ult is based after the Sumeru desert boss. Keqing does slashes in her ult, meanwhile Haitham reflects light (like the boss) (and both animations are based on/inspired by the study(?) of real Al-Haitham (light reflections) as far as I'm aware) those are two completely different mechanics and comparing them just shows that most people don't even bother paying attention (ofc you're allowed to not know, but still... it's tiring) not sure about the skill since i personally didn't see it as much, but even so, the most similarity is probably the fact that it allows teleportation and that's it so no, they did not "copy and paste Keqing". and even if they did, there's nothing wrong with that - Keqing is a fun unit, so having someone like her wouldn't be bad. and games like Genshin, esp with so many characters, are gonna start getting at least a bit repetitive with animations at some point /nm btw, just pointing it out

I think the reflecting light thing is so cool but I just with it didn’t look so similar to keqing Still would smash both tho but you get my point
Not every character needs a new burst. sure it might be weird he has a burst animation similar to keqing but is it really that big of a deal? you're acting as if many companies don't do this with characters
