What you said about cancers having to have approval and harmony with their family is 1000% spot on! I was in a 5 year relationship which turned toxic near the end. He had admitted he cheated on me and I (stupidly) stayed (typical cancer trying to make to work), but it wasn’t until a year later when him and my father got in an almost physical fight, that I knew I needed to end it. Taurus woman needing advice about a Cancer man. He's the cousin of my best friend. We met when I was 18 and he was 21 - I don't remember that occasion, but he does. No contact until 2015: he got my number from his cousin. We chatted over the phone a few times, I found him incredibly fascinating, however, I wasn't ready for his intensity, so we went our separate ways. She's planning to have "the talk" with him. I cannot explain it, but when you know, you know. I have never in my 56 years been in love before - despite a marriage of 25 years. I had a cancer come over and I have a cat and a dog and as a African American I thought he wouldn’t mess with me but he was the first dude come over and LITERALLY love my pets. Like teard up because my dog is on the verge of dying. I thought he was lying/playing around but I guess not. I judged to quickly. VERY attractive but so sweet I thought it was an act.

@@thulasmash2195 No he is really isn't a bad person he has a hernia and it hurts, he has had this for some years now, and the medication the doctors gave him wasn't working he was scared to have the operation but now he is ready to do it, he has Been going through the 12 steps program for about all most 2 years now, and he is making it, you know why he is making it Because I finely told him in January I loved him, he thought I didn't love him, But that made him go further to keep going he is about to come out of the 12 steps program and get the operation and be with me. I love him so much God bless him amen, 70 time 70.

This description was incredible, 100% right. Specially about the food, we love quality food, this was the every year arguing every time we had to plan Christmas Eve and New Years Eve dinner, I always want to go with quality, a nice banquet and different dishes to choose from, but my dad and brother never want to spend money on food (they are Capricorn and Virgo, too "square" for a Cancerian). That's why since 2 years I detached them for those feast days and prepare/buy my own food for dinner the way I want to and not depending on what other people "prefer". Those 2 dinners are probably the most important feast day on the year but they prefer to "have some sandwiches and not to spend too much money.", just TERRIBLE.

Taurus woman needing advice about a Cancer man. He's the cousin of my best friend. We met when I was 18 and he was 21 - I don't remember that occasion, but he does. No contact until 2015: he got my number from his cousin. We chatted over the phone a few times, I found him incredibly fascinating, however, I wasn't ready for his intensity, so we went our separate ways. Didn't hear from him until 2021 after I had moved cross country (I live on the West Coast, he's in the Midwest). He inquired about taking a road trip to my new home state because he'd never been there before. I said "of course" because after all, he's my best friend's cousin. Flash forward to May 2022: we are 56 and 59. His cousin/my bestie is getting married May 21 and we are both in the wedding. He reaches out because we will finally meet in person again! We flirt daily. I realize this man is the sh*t and I cannot wait to see him. His cousin pulls a trick on us and we meet the night I fly in for the wedding. It was like a lightning bolt struck us both: I knew in an instant he was the man for me. We are very obviously attracted to one another and cannot stop staring at each other. The next evening, after the rehearsal dinner, his 25 y/o daughter (who I had never met before) corners me and says: you're beautiful. I've heard so much about you and I want you to date my dad. He needs you and you'd be perfect for him". I am shocked and don't know what to say! Wedding day: we have a blast, he sits next to me as the wedding party cruises around the city taking photos. We've flirted all weekend, but he's quiet. Taciturn. I'm confused. At the wedding reception, we dance...we keep ending up dancing together. Again, we have a blast! I walk away thinking this is it...he is going to kiss me and say he wants to date me. Nope! We say goodbye the next day and that's petty much it! The nest couple of weeks we exchange a few texts, but he tells his cousin it's a no go. That I don't seem serious and we don't want the same things. ???? What??? I know he was burned badly years ago after his divots. I get it. But that was definitely NOT the message I was sending all weekend and not the message HE was sending me. Finally, after wishing him a Happy Birthday, I text him and say I'm not going to continue bothering him with texts. I wish him well on an upcoming event and tell him my door is always open to him. Over the next couple of weeks, I keep getting auto generated texts from him saying he's traveling, unable to read messages and will respond later. What?? I haven't sent him any messages in two weeks! A couple of days ago, he texts me. Apologizes for the weird texts "from his motorcycle". I send a light hearted text saying it must be the universe speaking. His response? The message got sent to several people. Ouch. I, of course, talk to my bestie. I'm her favorite friend and he's her favorite cousin. She says she has been convinced we would be the perfect couple for 10 years. She says he's cautious, but can't understand why he's being so resistant. He's visiting her this week. She's planning to have "the talk" with him. I cannot explain it, but when you know, you know. I have never in my 56 years been in love before - despite a marriage of 25 years. When I met him, I had butterflies - first time ever. This man is it for me. My heart and soul know it. Both his daughter and his cousin, who know him well, say we would be perfect together.
