Interesting thing to note with Half Light - when he starts getting violent and hostile, it's normally towards targets that would be deem unorthodox for Harry to attack - women, children, objects, etc. - for those options are what it would deem unable to defend/fight back. When it comes to more sizeable opponents or met directly head on in interaction, it acts more paranoid and over-analyzing everything.
@@The41stPrecinct I love the writing in this game. So many little nuances that feel like nothing in the ordinary are really monumental when you take a backseat and take note to find the hidden strings in things.
I think you might have missed one. The one with Klaasje, where you ask her if she was raped. She says she probably wasn't. 89% confident. 'You know it is'. And then Half-Light pops up; 'You DO know how it is'. Very high level check, but puts a very nasty feature in Harry's past. And after all, he's a guy that's a bit afraid of physical intimacy if he isn't drunk for it.
@@The41stPrecinct Yeah, that occurred to me after I posted it. Sorry for the pedantry, I was trying to find a gameplay/video of the line for a friend. Thank you so much uploading all of this, it's great to see!
I think there needs to be a deeper skill mechanic, when a skill is low it should SOMETIMES act deceptively, giving seemingly new profitable options that will lead you to an unexpected and/or negative outcome. And when the skill is high, it should throw at you too many options of action, among which only one, or at least not all of them, will lead you to success, and the rest will again lead to an unexpected result. Of course, this is too difficult, even for such a fairly linear quest as Disco Elysium.
The voice crack on "Kill him. Kill him NOW" really sets Half Light apart from other voices. It's so unhinged.
Half light roleplaying as Palpatine there. Impression is spot on
My favourite Half Light line in the game!

Never let down the chance to take a slight disagreement into a full blown fight. Or that’s what Half-Light has taught me.

Yes! Great observation. When it came to Cuno he said kill him now, but was urging Harry to bail on entering his Dad’s apartment.

Well to be fair, it urges Harry to fuck Measurehead up, so there's that.
He's a wild animal. Animal just atack when they know can win.
Win is food and still alive
Death is lose and being the food of someonee
He actually encourage you to attack Measurehead.
I love this edgelord. He's almost useless in the game, but at least he can deliver some lulz.
He doesn't let you down during the tribunal though when he warns you that dude is about to Snap unlike other senses
😂 had me dying laughing 😂
Ooooh, boy. This one's gonna be wild

I missed loads to be honest, this is not a complete complication 😖

@@Summersong2262 there are a bunch of Klaasje videos on the channel so you should be able to find what you’re after 🙂

This is the skill compilation I've listened to the most
