I never get easily unsettled and feel “creeped out” by seeing a defendant in a trial…but this woman just exhuberates something evil. Her stares and mockingly-snarls, the way her beaty eyes dart…just…idk…she’s terrifying. She just seems like there’s no light behind her eyes. Just a darkness that took residence in her body.

I must say, what an OUTSTANDING prosecutor and homicide detective! Experienced, professional, well prepared on the case, no uh, um's during questioning or testimony, and, no time wasted with shuffling papers that they can't find. Everything was explained so well that a layperson could understand exactly what he was testifying about. That detective does such a great job working to convict murderers. I highly doubt he makes mistakes...he's just too thorough. It's a shame that ALL detectives aren't as educated as this one.

The judges are supposed to be impartial. There is a degree of stoicism that is necessary to be fully impartial and fair, as the jury will see the judge's facial reactions to the testimony and their body language and that may persuade the jury in one direction.
Um, judges aren’t supposed to have a personal feeling about cases. Their job is to BE impartial and make sure everyone’s rights are respected and the rules are followed. This isn’t a “judge trial” so his opinion or thoughts should NOT be known- especially to the jury , defendant or spectators.
She looks way older than 25, even if that is her age when the crime happened, she still looks way older than 35. The bored look while her lawyer showed her the crime scene photos, is sickening. She looks almost annoyed at having to see them here, like its a waste of her time. This woman is def a threat to society and will re-offend as soon as she is released, if she ever is. I think she needs to be locked up for her life, maybe even deserved more than that.

My neighbors ended up murdering a young woman during a BDSM session they forced onto her.. I knew they were weird but I never expected them to be murderers. Ever since then I don't trust anyone around me just my family.
Not only was his mother-and his family-traumatized, the officers and crime scene techs had to go home and try NOT seeing those visions in his/her head. I’m a trauma nurse, and wish I could erase things I’ve seen. It’s always there, filed away until something triggers a memory. God Bless all of them who worked on this case. Her defense attorney is probably making sure that every i is dotted and every t crossed, so as to ensure that there is no possibility of a conviction being overturned on a technicality upon appeal.

Prison obviously sucks, but it’s also a lot cushier than it should be. We’re just stuck spending our tax dollars to keep this putrid human being alive. Even people on death row end up wasting space and resources for decades. There’s probably no solution to stop these types of crimes, but I wouldn’t mind them being taken out back and immediately taken off this earth after a guilty verdict for heinous crimes such as this. Allegedly, she was diagnosed with bipolar when she was around 12/13. Borderline symptoms typically manifest at that age, not typically with bipolar. BPD in a triggered state easily rides the edge of psychosis and is hallmarked by impulsivity, which is characterologically psychopathic (secondary). So assuming she's high on meth and already struggles with dysregulation and impulsivity, it's safe to say she has significantly less control over her behavior. However, her self-declared interest and fan status of Jeffrey Dahmer has nothing to do with dysregulation, impulsivity nor meth and conversely, has something to do with her interests, values and character. One could theorize and conjecture that there was an aspect of premeditation. Regardless, I can't imagine any jury siding with this lady, given how grotesque this case is. And the smirking.

The use of the drug amplified her own disorder and she clearly appears to have feelings of satisfaction with what she did (the high was probably extremely high and she would partially get a residual stimulus when recalling it). Any penalty of law is probably for her in no way connected to the actions she undertook. The action (drug enhanced) is a separate experience for her than the penalty. The two don't connect. Whereas for 'normal' people actions are connected to consequence.

Judge was closely watching her reactions. This was awful for every human in that room except for her. I couldn’t have defended her. Her attorney did well even knowing that she did these things. I’m sure his personal opinions on this case are very strong but he can’t share them because he has to ensure she gets a fair trial so that she can’t appeal saying she did not get a proper defense.

The judges are supposed to be impartial. There is a degree of stoicism that is necessary to be fully impartial and fair, as the jury will see the judge's facial reactions to the testimony and their body language and that may persuade the jury in one direction.
Um, judges aren’t supposed to have a personal feeling about cases. Their job is to BE impartial and make sure everyone’s rights are respected and the rules are followed. This isn’t a “judge trial” so his opinion or thoughts should NOT be known- especially to the jury , defendant or spectators.

Prison obviously sucks, but it’s also a lot cushier than it should be. We’re just stuck spending our tax dollars to keep this putrid human being alive. Even people on death row end up wasting space and resources for decades. There’s probably no solution to stop these types of crimes, but I wouldn’t mind them being taken out back and immediately taken off this earth after a guilty verdict for heinous crimes such as this. I would hold the gun, pull the trigger and not lose a second of sleep in that case.

Allegedly, she was diagnosed with bipolar when she was around 12/13. Borderline symptoms typically manifest at that age, not typically with bipolar. BPD in a triggered state easily rides the edge of psychosis and is hallmarked by impulsivity, which is characterologically psychopathic (secondary). So assuming she's high on meth and already struggles with dysregulation and impulsivity, it's safe to say she has significantly less control over her behavior. However, her self-declared interest and fan status of Jeffrey Dahmer has nothing to do with dysregulation, impulsivity nor meth and conversely, has something to do with her interests, values and character. One could theorize and conjecture that there was an aspect of premeditation. Regardless, I can't imagine any jury siding with this lady, given how grotesque this case is. And the smirking.
Whether she loses control or not, she must be removed from public society. She is CLEARLY a threat to health and well-being of others.

@@davidmickles5012 Just a layman's opinion: I don't think 'abnormal' people like this feel any association with 'guilt' or feel any particular connection to 'consequences' for their actions. The use of the drug amplified her own disorder and she clearly appears to have feelings of satisfaction with what she did (the high was probably extremely high and she would partially get a residual stimulus when recalling it). Any penalty of law is probably for her in no way connected to the actions she undertook. The action (drug enhanced) is a separate experience for her than the penalty. The two don't connect. Whereas for 'normal' people actions are connected to consequence.

Judge was closely watching her reactions. This was awful for every human in that room except for her. I couldn’t have defended her. Her attorney did well even knowing that she did these things. I’m sure his personal opinions on this case are very strong but he can’t share them because he has to ensure she gets a fair trial so that she can’t appeal saying she did not get a proper defense.
