Well done Lydia but please people correct me if I am wrong but I don’t recall Lydia telling Sam mandy belle etc that Lydia and Craig nearly kissed.. did Lydia keep this part a secret to Sam? What Craig did was evil and he deserves to rot in hell and Lydia is so brave to pluck up the courage to tell the police properly.. but I can’t work out as to wether or not Lydia told Sam/ anyone else that her and Craig nearly kissed

To little to late lydia, she waited to long to report him, even if they bring him in for questioning, they can't charge him because lydia would have showered since the attack, washing any evidence away, so it'll be her word against his, and he can't be charged on her word, same thing happened to amy in coronation street, she was drunk and her boyfriend took her home, she fell asleep and when she woke up she knew something had happened, she waited 3 weeks before reporting it, but she would have showered, washed all evidence away, he was questioned by police but was left go because there wasn't any evidence and it was her word against his, no charges were brought against him and he eventually moved away from weatherfield, the police can't charge craig with the attack with no evidence, if lydia is looking for justice, she and the dingles have to get it themselves
