When my boys were little we went to Tom Sawyer Island every time we went to DW. Great place for them to let off steam. We sat in the shade and just let then run wild. They loved it. Much less crowded. After 30-40 minutes we were all ready to plunge back into the crowds.
A great way to take a load off of your feet and gauge the crowds... the Railroad! If a particular area of the park is crowded, you can just wait until the next stop. Or just take the full circuit for max relaxation! Plus, it's a low key fun ride! Excellent strategies abound in this excellent video! Much respect. 🤟
I'd love this!! We are going with friends with a child who isn't really into rides or characters. I thought about making him scavenger hunts to keep it fun and exciting.
@@rb5078 ain’t nobody making me miss my virtual queues. I already told my mom that I’m not waiting around; I plan to early entry rope drop to close everyday.
the last time we went to magic kingdom, it poured rain for 2 hours straight. my friend and i happened to already be at aloha isle, so we slipped over and watched the new country bear jamboree twice, we loved it so much and the AC in there is heavenly 🥰
T-minus 30 days till our first ever trip!! I'm already dreaming about that creme brulee croissant. So many great suggestions in this video. I can't thank you all enough for the wonderful tips. I've watched almost every video the past 6 months preparing for our trip. Side note: what's the BEST running shoes to wear for a long Disney day?
I don’t have a specific shoe in mind but any comfortable sneakers should do. Bring a pair that you already know you like and doesn’t give you blisters or anything since you’ll probably get around 20k steps per day. Enjoy your trip!
Maybe I missed it, but if you have an 8am Breakfast reservation, do you get into the park before the rest of the crowd? And is there a separate line for that? Tnx!
Random but do we know why there are less restaurants like polite pig and yak and yeti on the quick service dining plan for 2025? So many good places aren’t showing for the 2025 dining plan 😢
The two restaurants you mentioned are owned by an outside company instead of Disney. Maybe that is why. In fact we had trouble checking into yak and yeti on the Disney app. The yak and yeti cast members told us mobile check in on the Disney app won’t work since Disney doesn’t own the restaurant.
Does this mean that the restaurants like yak and yeti and chicken guy probably won’t be on the dining plans for next year? They seem to be on there this year and were when I went 5 years ago. I understand it changes constantly but seems like so many less places on the quick service plan now
we recently tested out Hokas in the parks and LOVED them -- they're also big with Cast Members who are on their feet all day www.disneyfoodblog.com/2024/05/27/i-wore-these-viral-shoes-all-day-every-day-in-disney-world-heres-why-it-was-a-total-lifesaver/
They're not tennis shoes, BUT I purchased the Reef water vista sandals for my trip in September and I'm obsessed with them. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, they're very sturdy and give a good cushion and support. They don't rub weird at all. They're also just perfect for rainy season because you don't have to worry about soggy shoe blisters. 100/10 would recommend to a friend
Hey everyone happy Wednesday love magic kingdom park ❤I always enjoy going inside the Cinderella’s castle 🏰 too I’m excited for the Disney’s pollynesian villas opening December 2024 I wonder what’s it going to be like I wonder how their luau is going to be like because I love me a good luau it’s fun and exciting plus I love the food they serve I’m also excited for what’s to come at magic kingdom too have a good day stay safe out there I know hurricane 🌀 Debby recently hit Orlando Florida 😊
@@DFBGuide thank you! Do you get your physical card when you check into your resort? Do you link your dinner reservations and park tickets to the card? I’m not going to get a magic band.
Hi, Can we do a standby lane for LL single pass attractions if we have an early park entry at 8:30 a.m. (for staying in Disney resorts), or do we still need to buy lightning lane pass? Can we follow this approach standby for all 4 parks for those Single lane attractions ?
Will we have a “tricks & treats” for No So Scary this year? For a very special occasion, my daughter and I are choosing NSS vs a full day for MK. Need thoughts!! 🎉❤
I think trick or treat is standard with not so scary. You'll get sooooo much candy. It's a great time! Plus with shorter lines in the evening, its awesome to get on the rides more quickly. Last year we got DRENCHED with rain during not so scary, did dampen the fun slightly but we were able to still trick or treat, and at some point when you are soaked, getting wet doesn't matter anymore haha.
Disney confirmed it! We went to the party and got to see it for ourselves, too! Be on the lookout for our Not So Scary video coming out soon- where we’ll show you what those standby lines for both rides look like throughout the event
He’s starting to make more regular meet and greet appearances, yes! Disney hasn’t 100% confirmed that he’s there to stay just yet, but we’ll keep ya updated!
Cosmic Ray's burger toppings bar ended during Covid, so no more burgers piled high with sauteed mushrooms. So sad. Then, they killed Splash Mt, so I didn't renew my AP. Haven't been to Disney since.
Better strategy ...pass on Disney and hit other local amusement parks till prices stop being so ridiculous. Been 5 years dry and not missing it as the value to the "magic" just isn't there anymore.
People, stop wasting 20+ minutes in the morning getting coffee in the park. Get it at your hotel or on the way. First thing in the morning you can do 2 attractions in that time. You'll survive. On second thought, go ahead and waste time there.

I swear by Merrell hiking shoes. I have tried switching between my Asics sneakers, and the hiking shoes were much better by the end of the day.

Sory but if you missed your virtual queue thats your fault…disney doesnt have to let you on
How do you scan into the virtual queue once you arrive at the ride? Do you show the cast member your phone?
you'll use your "ticket", which will either be your Magic Band, a physical card, or a barcode in the Disney World app
