It’s a new voice over for SRK. Give it some time, your ears will adjust. Hindi movie audience want something different but will take longer to digest. Same for any language. It took tamil audiences years before they could adjust to Udit Narayan voice.

And if you aren't aware,South indian movies especially Tamil and Telugu have more dance numbers traditionally,where Bollywood doesn't have that much,they have more celebration sort of songs with many people from the cast dancing simply,of course Hrithik Roshan,Karthik Aaryan, tiger and varun Dhawan arw exceptions,but they are also comparitively newer actors,so the south influence has spread to bollywood,and they have started including dance numbers now
In te south indian side, a hero footwork dance as a compulsory piece in mass movies since 80s,so you can find dancers like allu Arjun,vijay,prabhudeva, Chiranjeevi,jr ntr,ram charan etc

I really think SRK is the greatest actor that India has ever produced because I belong to South Indian and I don't know a word in hindi during my childhood days but SRK has a magic that even kids can understand his emotions without knowing the language and TBH I saw other actors in the same age but neither I could understand the Hindi nor their acting. But because of SRK I started to understand Hindi now even after becoming a grown up and an avid Bollywood film lover. I still think there is no one who can act like him. In veer-zara as an old man the way he shivered his hands and the voice he changed to a weak old man's voice is flawless. In Om Shanti Om the difference he brought to 2 characters like a humble loving sensitive Om the aspiring actor, and cool stylish easy-breezy and little impatient Om the superstar is so amazing. Even though I didn't like Devdas for one reason as he keeps saying Chandramukhi "mai yahape aata hoon ki thume bardash karsako" many-a-times than the original but his performance was spectacular. I also think he is a versatile actor he did out and out comedy in Chennai Express and villain in Baazigar and Autistic in My Name Is Khan as a serious and strict coach in Chak de India and psychologist in dear zindagi and army officer in Mai hoon na, nasa engineer in swades he is not just great only as Romantic actor I think few PPL try to take away stardom and good name from him as an incredible actor.

What Rick mentions about choreograohy being normal for a high octane song- i dont know if its a Tamil thing- i have often noticed the "hero intro song" or the "hero's song" in most tamil movies are high octane mass-y songs but with a simpler choreograohy- this kind of reaches most audiences- coz u see kids repeating the steps in school events .. adults in weddings etc.. so i reckon its to make sure of its reach across all spectrums.. this is my personal observation.. if any one else has a comment on this- pls let know... . tamnil version soubnds better coz Ani is Tamil.. and the lyrics kinda suits the beats more in Tamil tbh.. :)

The tamil one definitely sounds better !! I dont know why but the hindi one sounds a bit off sync !! The hindi version does not have a powerful voice (though the singer is same) which was expected from this kinda song !! But SRK looks so good and young ❤❤❤

why u guys always compare ? first u give lecture your audience to not compare and then u are comparing 57 years old guy with young actors who probably are better dancer then him and also ntr and ram needed to dance together and in this srk dance with 1000 womens together so dance steps were same for everyone to match the choreography intensity as they required. if it would be ranveer in it, u would have get orgasm specially rick. song doing wonders and ppl are liking specially srk presence and aura which ntr, ram or any other actor in industry wont match.
