    John, I’ve bought all my juicers from you.The last one I have is the 727 Sana with dc motor and I love it, except for having to cut my celery! What I like to do is after juicing my fruits and vegetables, I take the pulp and cover it with juice full to overflowing the top of my quart mason jar,(gets the oxygen out)lid it and store it in the fridge. Then I make smoothies by taking one or two bananas and adding some of my juice mixture to it and make quick smoothies. I sometimes have to add a little water to top off my pulp in my jar, so it doesn’t oxidize .You’ve been a great help to me over the years, and I appreciate it, so thank you.

    HI John, here in South Africa it is sold as the Oscar Classic juicer. It comes with a pressure adjusting front end dial 1 - 5 to adjust pressure according to produce juiced. It actually comes with a 3 year commercial warranty and 20 year motor warranty for household use, and 5 years on the front end parts.We, however, are getting plastic containers for the juice and pulp without a sieve. We also have the 2 extra screens and pasta/sorbet attachments. I suppose the front end pressure adjusting dial can be bought seperately in any market, because this dial is also being used on some Omega models manufactured in Korea and available worlwide. This would make the celery attachment unnecessary.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks for your comments. I do like the adjustable pressure nozzle for sure. That being said, the celery nozzle puts even more backpressure than the adjustable nozzle :) so there still is some benefit.

    I prefer the 606 and 707 drum setups to the 727 due to the shorter feed chute and the lack of annoying spinning grinder at the end making them easier to clean. I also like the lack of chrome base plate which scratches easily. The 727 does have the upper hand on the brushless DC motor. I use my 606 drum with 727 motor base for best of both. Its a shame Sana don't offer that hybrid option.
    Ps. MM advises celery juice to be strained. Also the juice looses colour and taste vibrancy with the inner leafy stalks

    Is there any down side to getting the 727? I currently have an omega nc 800 and a hurom h 200 and a vacuum blending blendtec with a void lid set up.
    Also is there any blender set up that you recommend more than blendtec with a void lid or the tribest? I have had both and had both blade assemblies leak eventually.

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Sana 727 is a good machine. I prefer it over the Sana 727 due to the DC motor with multiple speeds. It is truly an upgrade of the NC800, where as the 707 while more advanced than the nc800 *due to celery nozzle, its not an upgrade.
      Downside of the 727? the cost. That being said, while performance is better than the nc800, I would say its not a necessary upgrade. Unless you got extra money to burn, as you can reduce the RPM by 1/2 than the nc800 to get a bit higher quality juice that is less oxygenated, but will take longer to use. Yield may be a bit (but not significant) higher.
      All vacuum blenders can cause seals in jar to fail prematurely. No company has gotten this figured out yet. That being said, I feel the blendtec carafes have the best seals and should last longer than other vac blender carafes on the market. That being said, I heard Blendtec is changing how/where their carafes are made, which makes me sad (they were made in the USA in the past)

    Hey, you made a video comparing celery pulp heat levels after extraction from Omega single augur masticators.
    I’ve had an unsuccessful relationship with the MM1500HD and am fed up. What would you recommend? Does this sana heat up the pulp like the Omegas? Do you recommend the Hurom/Nama 400 for celery?
    Thanks

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Sana 707 with celery nozzle works by putting more backpressure on the celery to extract a higher yield.
      I have not directly compared it to the MM1500 yet. But based on my experience with the MM900, which is similar, it appears to put even MORE backpressure on the pulp, meaning it will cause more heat generation. Also the MM1500 and MM900 are made in China, where as the Sana 707 is made in South Korea, so I feel the quality of the 707 is much better. That being said when putting more backpressure on the celery pulp, heat will be generated. I feel there is a bit less backpressure on the Sana 707 with celery nozzle, meaning it should heat celery up a bit less. It depends on how fibrous your celery is and how fast you feed it in. The Hurom 400 and Nama J2 can also juice celery. that being said, it will take longer to clean, and the juice will not be as nutritious and the yield will not be as much as the Sana 707. See th-cam.com/video/L77lEb1F2G0/w-d-xo.html where I juice 5 heads of celery in the J2.

      Correct. This model is the IMPROVED NC800 model. Why Improved?
      1. Includes special celery nozzle to get up to 15% more juice on celery and greens like Wheatgrass
      2. Includes Coarse Juicing Screen for juicing fruit and give you more flexibility to add more pulp to veggie juices.
      3. Includes OVERSIZE Glass juice collection cup and Stainless Steel Pulp Catch Container
      4. More functional upscale feed chute that is all clear vs black and clear on NC series
      5. Compact and More Stylish Shape of the Juicer
      6. Better customer service. I have heard many complaints about Omega customer service lately, some customers specifically tell me they dont want to buy another Omega juicer and specify they want a different brand.
      7. Of course both the NC800 and the Sana 707 are made in the Same factory in S. Korea that make the best horizontal juicers in the world. So durability is guaranteed.

    What’s the difference between that and the omega?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on the Model. Most Horizontal Omega Juicers these days are made in China. Some of their latest models had issues with breakage. See th-cam.com/video/r2QINllZUd4/w-d-xo.html I think they got that issue worked out (hopefully) that being said, the 707 is made in South Korea, it is a high quality machine that is built to last. I have also have had feedback from customers that Omega customer service is not as good as it used to be. This machine includes OVERSIZE glass + stainless steel catch cups instead of smaller plastic catch cups. It is basically superior to the Omega models in many ways. It also INCLUDES the celery nozzle that will increase celery juice yield by up to 15%. This machine has been out in Europe for the last 11 years and has TIME proven it self for durability. I would easily choose this over an Omega juicer any day of the week. This machine also includes a COARSE hole screen that Omega juicers do not even have.

Are there any other changes or improvements proposed for the 727 and when is the new model due for release?? I love the slow juice option of the 727 model, the quality and amount of yield and it’s reverse intelligence capabilities, but personally do not find the glass cup of the 727 too practical, and prefer the glass jug of the 707 a better option for dispensing into other storage for refrigeration.

      It will likely yield more but will take a little longer to juice it. See comparison video with the 727. You do a great job of it, so this isn't about you.
    Please encourage your friends or associate who speak on the topic of juicing to teach people not to overindulge in fruit juice.
    Juicing is great. And most people like some fruit in their juice to transition from the garbage soft drinks etc.
    That said, i see so many well meaning people start juicing and go hog wild with jugs and jugs of fruit juice. It's crazy.
    The fruit juice should be ancillary. The veg and leafy is primary. That was the whole intention of those who developed the concept.
    No normal human would ever eat an entire pineapple in one sitting.
    Well intentioned people are walking themselves into a fatty liver, insulin resistance, and weight gain by going crazy with the fruit.
    I've seen you explain that before, but it deserves repeating until it becomes common knowledge.
