Kl Rahul should bat in middle order. Dekock and marcus should've open. With Hooda at 3. Kl at 4. Pooran at 5.
And bowling they would've used marcus with new ball with mohsin.
They're a good team. But missed some tricks. Nothing else

I heard somewhere that Rohit and Selectors told KL 2-3 days before the tournament , that he is not in contentions for the WC , so the whole plan of Devdutt opening and KL playing at 4-5 got flushed
Also I think injuries and terrible bowling through out tournament specially against KKR and SRH game is the reason LSG failed to qualify
LSG in their short 3 years history has failed to beat the qualified teams apart from last year where they managed to beat MI at Ekana

No reason for keeping pooran for last few overs. He is too good fir that. Nicky p is their best batsman and he should be given max balls to play. He should be batting at no 3 or even opening

Australian coach langer just promoting his own countryman stonis. He is hit and mis so he should have been kept for late innings hitting and pooran should be at no 3.

It was a struggle watching LSG play this season. Such a good squad and yet made questionable changes.
The Pooran Stoinis partnership was so food last sesson, yet they chose to break it by pushing Stoinis to 3 and holding Pooran to No.5
If LSG needed experience down the order, KL Rahul should have batted at No.5, because everytime LSG were 1 wicket down in the powerplay, he made it seem like they were 4 down.
Ayush Badoni has scored 50s coming in at 60-4 and yet finished off with 150+ strike rate in those games.
Why they didnt pick Mayers despite De kock and Padikkal struggling for form and why Ashton Turner played ahead of him shows poor selection. Also juggling between Joseph, Henry and Navee didnt help and underutilization of Bishnoi told a story
