Tips like this are precisely why I'm a member of the Matt Kloskowski Fan Club! Many thanks, Matt!

Thanks Michael. I think I now have two people in the club... you and my mom! :-) Take care!

Thanks Matt. I use CAF so often, that I set up a custom keyboard shortcut to launch it. It is an amazing tool.

Hey Matt! maybe you can answer this question. I've notice when I make a selection and do the whole process. the part that gets replaced is super soft ( blurred ). what do you suggest to do? I wish I can attach a screen shot of it so you can see. thank you.

content aware fill leaves a white outline around the object I'm trying to get rid of when it's on a darker background, I guess I just use the clone stamp to get rid of that?

A keeper, Matt! Was using CAF yesterday - definitely a challenge for complex image tone areas (in my case mesh fencing in front of a goat’s leg - wanted to ditch the fence but fill in realistic goat fir; CAF kept replicating the goat’s knee - no kidding, go figure). BTW, super osprey pics; first image looks like a man in a costume w/arms spread.

There ought to be another feature called CALF - content aware leg fill

In most cases I feel like the patch tool is faster. It's the same as using the lasso tool, but then I hit the delete key followed by enter and it immediately deletes and does content aware fill. If it gets it wrong, I hit ctrl-z and instead drag the lasso over to what I prefer that it sample and let go. Usually that's all I have to do.

I saw a technique somewhere before when CA was reiterated using smaller selections, then certain spots were hidden by painting within the layer masks. CAF is good for cleaning up duplicated patterns left by the clone stamp tool, as well, similar to the healing brush, but more intelligent.

Hi Matt. Will you please consider doing a series on the Adobe mobile apps? I’d love to be able to use my iPad Pro for editing, but it seems overwhelming. I’d love to get your thoughts, from importing through editing in Lightroom and photoshop.

I have Photoshhop CC 2017.1.0 and I don't have the "Content-Aware Fill..." option showing. Do I need a newer version of PS?

Hi. Yes you’ll need the subscription version.

    Appreciated as always.
It looks like the Patch Tool could also have served a purpose as well.

Why'd you leave the cursor on "find or remove text"...
